About the only reason this didn't happen to Pokemon, was because "influencers" wasn't really a thing yet.
Still plenty of weirdos, but they were mostly hidden by shiny-squad nolife fatbeards utterly decimating kids' teams and driving them to tears.

Pokemon has a competitive scene, but it is officially run by Nintendo. It has divisions that are separated by age groups.

Nintendo doesnt support the scene much. Smash has always been grassroots, especially Melee. But Ultimate tournaments are run by the community as well

Peacekeeper and Kraber are more common in Armed and Dangerous because its just sniper rifles and shotguns. Like, you can find them on the ground in that mode

Crossplay is gonna be lit tbh

It feels like anyone I talk to on this site that plays Apex plays it on console

My recent Apex achievement was winning 2 games in a row of Armed and Dangerous and getting the badge for the back to back wins for Wattson (my first one but shes my most played hero anyways)

I also downed two people at once with a Kraber shot that second game which was satisfying as FUCK

We have no idea what the vaccine will look like. It may not be a one-time thing. You may have to get it more often than annually (unlike the flu shot) as well (antibodies may only last up to 4 months and Im not sure if vaccines can last beyond that)

This is so fucked up. The Smash community seriously needs to drop the hero worshipping they do with their top players and personalities because I feel like its part of the reason that this kind stuff stays covered up for so long. Theres instances where nothing happens until the victim speaks out in explosive twitter posts because the top people get preferential treatment (not just in these kinds of situations but all situations).

I think this girl also worked with Nintendo so this may have a negative ripple effect on that front too.

I mained healer and tank. Problem with those classes is theyre team reliant and most of them arent fun to play, even somewhat for class mains. Then, they keep adding DPS characters to the game. I cant imagine how long DPS queues last.

Ultimate has more character diversity than any other Smash game so I have no idea what youre talking about.
What, so do you mean:

• Smash 64, which is dominated by Kirby and Pikachu?
• Brawl, which is dominated by Meta Knight?
• Smash 4 which is dominated by Bayonetta and Cloud? Previously with Diddy and Shiek?

Melee has a fair amount of viable characters but Ultimate has far more.

This was my Art setup on her btw

• Healing Energy
• Gravity Zero
• Cross Impact
• Final Cross (Story gated. You wont get it for a while so I used Double Blade here before then)
• Double Wind
• Air Fang
• Spear Blade
• Speed Shift

One of the problems with her Arts though is some of the books are gated by a late shop, or Colony 6 reconstruction (Housing + Commerce level 5)

Some people actually remove a number of Arts from her palette because she is by far the best autoattacker in the game and the AI will use Arts instead of attacking

Make sure you do the quest to get Monado Armor on Fallen Arm

Easily one of the most broken Arts in the game because it can reduce up to 75% incoming damage at max rank

It is much better than Monado Eater, the other optional Monado Art (applies bleed and removes a single buff from the enemy)

Yeah Agility is just busted in general lol

Melia and maybe Reyn are the only party members who should be wearing heavy armor because of their low Agility scores
