I mostly tolerate people moving slowly in the passing lane, especially if they do happen to be passing someone slower than them and otherwise doing the speed limit. That's what I do, and I move back over to the travel lane as soon as it's safe to do so. Tailgating me won't make me speed up. For something not on the list, people who don't get all the way over in a turning lane. Left or right, doesn't matter. Not getting over in the right lane tends to impede the straight lane, and not getting over far enough in the left lane tends to impede the view of people turning left opposite you, especially if you have a tall vehicle. Be courteous and get as far over as you can. The Popo posted... Option 2, easily. So you hate when people use that lane for its prescribed purpose? --- |

Borderlands 2 was particularly bad with this in the later difficulties. The level 60 version of the best gun in the game was a pea shooter by the time you hit 62. The went a long way to fixing the scaling in Pre-Sequel. Still not perfect, but your weapons don't become useless every two levels at least. --- |

| AlleRacing 02/28/18 10:06:09 PM #32 | Some things need changing, but outright banning a huge category of guns like that would not be the best immediate idea. One thing I think should be mandated is a federal firearms licence. A ridiculous number of states don't require a licence to purchase a gun at all. In addition, there should be federal registration for guns, I'd propose all guns, but maybe roll it out slower and start with hand guns. Have that licensing office with access to NICS, and have a mandatory course to go along with applying for a licence. After this, if there are specific firearms, or classes of firearms that need to be prohibited further, do so, but allow all current owners of those firearms a one time prohibited firearms licence to own those specific firearms, and perhaps have a system where one can apply for such a licence in the case of inherited firearms or other special purposes. Basically, adopt Canada's system. --- |
