The good thing about Storm is even if you think you've had a big spoiler, there are so many potential "huge spoilers" that you're still gonna have tons of stuff potentially blow your mind.
SUPPORTING: Alton, Balon, Bronn, Brienne, Davos, Gendry, The Hound, Jaqen, Jeor Mormont, Jorah Morment, Lancel, Littlefinger, Maester Luwin, Pycelle, Renly (?), Varys, Yoren... not sure on the last (two scenes... Pyat Pree? Irri? Doreah? Quaithe? HOT PIE?)
Of those... I don't know what you'd like, so I'll just post my own rough, purposefully not thinking about it rankings.
1.) Arya (duh) 2.) Tyrion (duh, could be first but I'll give Arya the handicap for being a child) 3.) Cersei (solid first half, phenomenal second half with great stuff to work with) 4.) Jaime (limited material, but material is fantastic and he nails it) 5.) Tywin (better actor than Cersei but far less range of material) 6.) Joffrey (plays character perfectly and we all want to punch him but being a coward at Blackwater was the only thing that wasn't sociopathy) 7.) Sansa (Blackwater performance was TOP ****ING TIER) 8.) Stannis (solid, loved badass Stannis, but not top tier) 9.) Melisandre (hot, but not that compelling, which is probably largely the writing) 10.) Catelyn (she did a good job with what she had, but it was all very understated and she suffered some character assassination)
SUPPORTING 1.) Jorah Mormont (one reviewer said it best "I totally buy that he would give his life for Daenerys. I just have no idea why anybody in there right mind would ever want to...") 2.) The Hound (biased by them messing with his character, but he nailed it in Blackwater) 3.) Varys 4.) Davos 5.) Brienne 6.) Jaqen 7.) Luwin 8.) Yoren 9.) Bronn 10.) Renly 11.) Balon 12.) Lancel 13.) Littlefinger (really disappointed with Littlefinger this year, because I love Aiden Gillen, largely writing) 14.) Pycelle 15.) Alton 16.) Gendry 17.) Jeor Mormont
Okay as I starting trying to comment I felt compulsion to change this up so I'm just going to stop and post.

From: KamikazePotato | #400 Hot Pie remains fat for the same reason Sam remains fat despite being in the Night's Watch. Your metabolism slows down in the cold. Clearly.
Since 2010, unemployment in Wisconsin is down, along with support for public sectors unions. Exit polls say 88% of voters had made up their mind by April.
Blaming the advertising money here is silly. What it really comes down to the incumbent is going to have a big advantage if things have "gotten better" economically during his term, deserved or not.
Iain Glen better be somewhere in the top two tiers for supporting. One of the tragically overlooked performances on the show. He was even better season 1, but he managed to sell every damn scene despite being opposite Clarke and her terribly written lines. He took a character I didn't really care about in the books and made him a favorite.
(sorry for the slight desync on the audio, but I wanted to make sure the audio didn't go early and spoil the video)
ATTN: WORLD SERIES PARTICIPANTS, need your World Series lineups and rotations ASAP (rotations do reset) so that I can get recording on the WS, so PLEASE post in this topic. I believe Nee already has actually...
Also, I'm hoping for a Jaime Lannister Tier of Kingslaying (or Trolling, really). And a Theon Greyjoy Tier of Being **** On. Because nobody gets **** on by every character to cross his path like Theon Greyjoy.
Hey realo, when you do your read, you should make a topic. You don't really have to update much for the first two books, but I'm interested in what you think of how characters compare.
I think Season 2 was a better Season 1 overall, but I liked Season 1 more. That's mostly my bias.
Also, why would you ever go to the cesspool that is Westeros.org
The admins there are legitimately messed up in the head. I don't mean that as flaming them, I mean that as in they have demonstrated that they are screwed up human beings.
From: LordoftheMorons | #365 I actually didn't really like the episode. Maybe it's because I just caught up in the books to where the show is, but I didn't like a lot of the changes they made, particularly to the House of the Undying. No prophecies and no Others? Lame. I'm also really hoping it was actually Ramsay that sacked Winterfell and not the iron islanders.
Another thing: why was like half the episode from the beginning of book 3? They're already splitting it into two seasons, so I don't really see the need to do that...
I did love the Jaqen/Arya scene though. I don't dislike the episode, but I didn't think it was "great". Preferred the season 1 finale. But I'm book-biased.
(Below is some talking about the books. There are no plot spoilers, I only talk about events that happened in the show and their placement in the books, but I'm being careful)
They moved a lot of the stuff up throughout the season because some people have nothing to do in the book. Well, they did stuff, but we didn't hear about it til later. For example: Robb. We didn't see it, but we heard about it later.
Further, several things that took place in Storm were concurrent with the end of Clash. For example, GRRM has stated that the Jaime stuff that we have seen in the show all happened around the same time as Blackwater, but the chapters weren't in the books until Storm. So... it mostly lines up.
And the White Walkers makes a good cliffhanger, so moving it from "season 3 prologue" to "season 3 epilogue" is a good decision.
Too bad Alfie Allen won't get a nom because Peter Dinkage will be going for Thrones, because Theon was fantastic this season. Jon and Robb were good but don't really deserve noms.
Cersei might have a shot at a nom, I expect they'll submit Blackwater. I spent most of the season saying "Give Arya an emmy nom". Sansa was fantastic in Blackwater, I think she may make a great actress some day. Catelyn was great but very understated, don't think she has a shot. I don't think Emilia Clarke deserves an acting nom.
Roose was never captured. Robett Glover was "captured" but that was all a ruse. After the diversionary battle, he initially retreated to the Twins, then he moved on to... the Ruby Ford I think? He sat his army there for a bit before Vargo Hoat made a deal with him to allow him to take Harrenhal. He sat there for a bit, meeting a certain handyman, before heading back to rejoin Robb.

ALSO, for anyone looking for a far better Game of Thrones videogame than either of the official ones, there is now a Crusader Kings 2 Game of Thrones mod (which yours truly worked on early in development, but far more proficient modders than me made into a pretty awesome first draft product). You can get CK2 for $12.50 on Amazon at the moment.
If you rewatch Season 2, Tyrion actually whistles the tune of Rains of Castamere several times. Most notable when he walks in and takes his place on the small council.
I actually saw this in the "recommended videos" for the piano rains of castamere.
From: Solfadore | #289 For those who like piano, I uploaded a (self-made) piano arrangement of the Rains of Castamere. Link: This is now on my ipod. Nice work dude.
Just out of curiosity, how does the Nether work in the 360 version? In the PC version, traveling one black in the Nether is equal to traveling eight in the normal world. But PC worlds are effectively infinite, while 360 worlds have size limits. Is the Nether really small compared to the regular world on the 360?
I haven't gotten around to using it in 360 yet so I can't tell you.
