Gamers aren't shy about throwing their money else where, or even making the games our selves. They think calling us racist, mysoginistic, rape apologists is going to change us? We've been called worse things by prepubescent 10 year olds with a shitty head set. They picked a fight against a group that's already grown desensitized to their strategies and methods. Who enjoy the battle of attrition they've threatened us with. Who take it as a challange when they tell us we no longer matter. Our obsession with proving we can after being told we can't is so deeply ingrained from years of dealing with big brothers/sisters and friends laughing at how pathetic we used to be that proving you people wrong has become a very real need; a honed reflex.

Gamers are competative, hard core, by nature. We love a challange. The worst thing you did in all of this was to challange us. You're not special, you're not original, you're not the first; this is just another boss fight.

Its not repulsive and wrong to be LGBT, but it is wrong to favor them over other students in service to a liberal agenda. Our universities are completely fucked up in that regard. The student is merely stating her dissatisfaction with that.

I agree that a teacher shouldn't favor LGBT students over the others and a reprimand of some kind for the teacher is in order...

I had a severe drinking problem, some of you may be familiar with my drunken antics. I was drinking through nearly a gallon of Tequila a week, generally getting plastered 5 to 7 nights a week.

I had recently in the past month drank once in the last 30 days, it was a gradual decline, drinking maybe 6 to 7 times last month, and every other night the month before.

Well dammit CE, it's June and I caved tonight, although it's been like 10 days, i'm drinking tonight. I'm ALMOST there, I really don't want to quit entirely, but after 5 years or so of being drunk 4-7 days a week, my current standing at once a month is pretty good.

Should I beat myself up over this in the morning or consider my significant decline and just call this a slip up? I feel a bit guilty.

Feeling guilty is normal, but instead of punishing yourself for it, learn from this mistake. If you have had a significant decline, that means you are making progress, don't let that hard work and effort be for nothing.

There's no comparison to Horizon. People had to really stretch and search to find any political themes within Horizon, and it takes place in a future setting anyway. But FC5 is just covered in deliberately provocative modern day political and religious imagery.

I loved Horizon, bought it day one. Because of its religious bigotry I wouldn't play Far Cry 5 even if it was free to play.

First let me say, I am glad to hear your mom is alive (and I hope doing well), second I am very sorry for the pain that you and your family went through. You asked for our thoughts, if I had to go through that with either of my parents, I would be thoroughly devastated (I am very close with my folks)......I probably wouldn't adjust well at all. I would be angry as all hell at the hospital if I found out that my mom or dad had been left to die and the reports had been falsified. I am in total agreement with your mom, the hospital should be sued! You most certainly have a case!
