You need much more water if you wash by hand.2 sinks, or a sink and a bucket. fill one with soapy water and soak dishes. scrub, quick rinse, dry. Dishwasher needs less water. And uses it at higher temperatures. Never heard of leak or mold issues. Just reinforces my point of maintaining. And there shouldnt be food on the plate if you put it in there. Food goes in the trash. Your filter is probably full of food and gunk if you use it like that. --- |
