He even had a sideshow prepped that was a story of a student whining about his grades. I'm not sure if their attendance numbers suffer overall because most students are clueless, but I (along with many people I've encountered) definitely avoided professors with an overwhelmingly low score. Well, when it's the only professor that's teaching that course... And I'm not sure if they necessarily care about attendance that much. When I was on community College the professors there did care about attendance. They'd always take roll and they'd always deduct points if you weren't in class or if you were late.
