The corporation being bad doesn't mean the worker should also be bad. That doesn't hurt the corporation, it only hurts the people receiving the packages.

We can't be sure it is, either. That's the entire point. The delivery driver has no idea what's in the boxes, and thus he should be treating every single one as if it's breakable, instead of treating every single one as if they're just socks.

they really spent $200m+ on a game after hardly anyone cared about the movies?

What

The first one did 749 million at the box office, and we have no idea how well the second one would have done because it released during COVID and had a streaming release the same date as theater release, though we do know it did well enough to cause the Peacemaker spinoff series, which did extremely well.

There was absolutely an audience for a Suicide Squad game. People were excited when it was first revealed. Saying otherwise is silly.

What killed it was when it was revealed to be a live service game. The concept was great, until then.

I don't know if this is a hot take or not, but I legitimately loved the last three for Universe 7 in the ToP being Goku, Frieza, and 17. Yes, I know people would have liked to see Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo do better, and so would I (well, Piccolo, atleast. Fucking love Piccolo.) That said, it just... Made so much sense.

Goku is Goku.

Frieza is somebody who always sought strength/power, so him training makes sense, and he's also opportunistic as all hell, so him taking advantage of certain things to get far, while also being willing to make deals with Goku, of all people, just... Fits his character.

17 was the most intelligent fighter by far, and while they obviously glossed over how he could have trained to get so strong in the time he was missing from the series, it does make sense since the entire big pro of androids is that they have infinite stamina, so the amount he could train, and the growth he'd get from it, is likely much greater than anybody else. And even then, his strategy was never about overall power, is was about... Surviving, which is literally why they win, in the end. He survived. Hell, Jiren even appeared to see through it, since in the final fight, he attempts to ignore Goku and Frieza to attack 17, instead, despite him being the lowest threat, power-wise.

Character reasons. Frieza always sought strength and power, so it makes sense he'd continue to seek growing stronger. Yamcha... Blatantly did not.

They literally invented like dozens of new characters, and only brought Frieza back due to how popular he is. This criticism doesn't even make sense, since Frieza literally proves to be weaker than several of the new characters and literally has to team up with others (17, Goku, etc.) to be able to deal with them.

I asked a friend once why it seems more women teachers get caught over this compared to men.

The answer is that they don't, actually. Men who get caught outnumber women who get caught dramatically.

The belief behind the apparent rise in number of women getting caught is that it's a mix of boys being less shamed to keep abuse private, and the media overreporting on women more than men, lately, since it's a bigger headline due to underreporting/not as many being caught, prior.

EDIT: Basically, women are getting caught more, now, than they were, previously, and the media is reporting more heavily on the female cases because it's "new" and "exciting," which creates the illusion they're being caught more than men, but that's not true. Men still get caught much, much more often, even if the belief is that the number of male and female abusers likely isn't all that different.

The fact of the matter is that Smartcars arent an upper income car. Its an objective truth. The average price is $10k. Its affordable.

That's not an objective truth because you're literally discounting everything that makes an "upper income car" an upper income car BUT price.

Your entire argument is based entirely on price, of which nobody is arguing. The entire point is who typically DRIVES a smart car, not who can AFFORD a smart car.

Your argument is incredibly flawed because you're attempting to support your topic without any facts to support it, other than price.

EDIT: Yes, a poor family can likely afford a smart car, but they're not going to buy one because it doesn't fit their needs at all, and that's why smart cars are typically driven by middle to higher class individuals, on average, over low class individuals, despite the price.

Not every poor person buys a minivan or SUV. They go for whats in their budget.

This is flawed thinking. Budget isn't the only thing that matters. Use matters above all. If somebody needs seating and storage, they're going to buy a multi-year old used minivan or SUV over a new smart car, for the same price. And the reason it's easy to find used minivans and SUVs for relatively cheap is precisely because so many people buy them, in the first place.

Hell, even single lower class people are likely to buy a multi year old used car over a new/new-ish smart car, because it'll be a cheaper option, and used smart cars aren't nearly as numerous.

Your logic appears to be based entirely on smart cars being cheap as a new option, but it discounts almost... Literally every other factor that goes into buying a car, for a low income class person.

I can kinda see what youre getting at, but lower income and uneducated people are more likely to not take maintenance into account when they see a sweet deal for $10k.

Its an easy purchase if youre looking for a new car. The rich persons Corvette is much more likely to shake itself apart. Nvm the insurance

They're not as likely to take maintenance into account, but they ARE likely to take seating and storage into account, which is why lower class people tend to favor things like minivans and SUVs, and seating/storage is something smart cars tend to notoriously lack.

I harshly agree to disagree. That upkeep and maintenance cant come close to higher end cars.

This point doesn't negate what I said. Yes, it doesn't come close to higher end cars, but that doesn't negate the fact that poorer people, on average, don't drive smart cars.

I don't think we're necessarily disagreeing, as much as your scope for "wealthy" appears to be more narrow, and so it appears we're disagreeing, when we're not.

My point is, mainly, that your average low class person is less likely to drive a smart car than somebody of a higher class, whereas your average low class person is more likely to be obese than somebody of a higher class.

Smartcars are like $10k on average. Theyre nowhere near an upper wealth car.

Smartcars, on average, have higher upkeep/maintenance costs, and are also smaller and have less seating and storage. While the initial price is lower, the overall cost is not. Thus, they tend to be driven by wealthier individuals, over poorer ones.

On the contrary, most well paying jobs are salary jobs, and the more well paying salary jobs absolutely are jobs where the average worker can consistently make sure they only work 40 hours a week, by choice. It tends to be the lower, lesser paying jobs that try to overwork you and get you to work more than 40 hours a week. I get your viewpoint, since it does fit with mine, where... When I had a salary job, it did feel like they took advantage of me and had me work more than 8 hours, on average. That said, I had visible view into the higher level jobs, and I noticed they, very freely, could make sure they only worked 8 hours, or even less.

Casinos in Las Vegas had an idea to create a database to track cannabis usage/legality, since it was a product of interest, at the time, while Nevada was debating/voting on the issue, and it was worth tracking for the sake of potential revenue interests.

And even THAT proved to be, ultimately, too large and inconsistent of an undertaking.

You've got to understand that that "loads of people" still equates to an incredibly small portion of the working population. And it's a pity, too. Gameplay-wise, the game is actually kind of a blast. The traversal options between the four characters are all very fun, and the combat feels good. If they hadn't shoved all of this GaaS crap in it, it would have been a good game.

Considering the fan got ejected for getting a ball thrown at him I doubt they would have let him keep said ball.
