Typically character creation really sets the tone of games for me despite the fact that I typically end up going with fairly general presets when I actually start to play. I love playing around and wasting hours in creation just to see how utterly deformed I can make characters, then I just reset to default and pick out preset combinations that I think really jive with the feel of the game up to this point, but everything in the character creator already felt so ugly to me that there wasn't any fun to be had.(the forced fungal growth is what really really ruined it for me, I just can't move past it.) Anyways, I finished it and went with presets like I always do and went with treebark face and some colourful vine hair. I've gotten myself up to The movement and combat do feel really really fluid for me and I am really enjoying the gameplay so far, I'm so far indifferent on the story but the characters are feeling very lame so far and unenjoyable to interact with.(maybe I was just really spoiled by having just finished BG3 where pretty much every character at least grew on me and everyone ended up having great stories.) --- All posters and events depicted in this post are entirely fictitious.
