I want them to just focus on Gen 10. It's clear that splitting the focus between multiple games is just making them all worse, so they should just go all in on making one game the best it can be.

On the other hand, GO doesn't have those things (much to the detriment of some Pokemon that rely on them), so I wouldn't count on other Let's Go games having them/

And there's nothing in Ultimate that comes even half as close as the hype of Snake in Brawl, or even Sonic for that matter. No amount of the Ridley and K Rool memes can come close.

Ultimate's roster is so big that last time I played it at my friend's place, I was lamenting to him that they missed out on adding Sora to the game. Then he was like "uh they did" and sure enough there he was on the select screen. I lost track of all the DLCs and reveals a long time before that I guess.

Bringing everyone back sure did bring the hype, especially since nobody thought Snake would ever return (and Cloud was pretty iffy too).

I think that might be a case of Cloud getting his stories mixed up. Crisis Core showed that the gap between Zack and Sephiroth wasn't that big, but Cloud is probably remembering himself as a Shinra grunt powerwise but as a SOLDIER.

I feel like VIII was more of a small world with a few really big areas (Balamb Garden, Deling City, Esthar) than a really big world. It kinda shares the same issue as IX where there's only a few really big important places and everywhere else is fairly sparsely populated.

Honestly, Wooper makes sense over Marill since Marill and Togepi would've meant that both games gave you a Fairy type.

That feels like an overcorrection from how easy it was to break 7 and 8 with their multihit attacks.

I'm hoping that was just a case of terrible direction in the Crisis Core remake, because I don't think he was that bad in Remake.

All of the returning characters in AJ got done dirty except for the judge (yes, even Gumshoe in his small cameo. I'm still disappointed that it's his last appearance in the series chronologicaly.)

It seems to be a trend in this series where the prosecutor in the odd numbered games is great and the prosecutor in the even numbered games isn't. Probably a good thing that GAA stuck with Van Zieks in the second game.
