1. Serves a rather unique purpose, highlighting whats special about the Pokemon world
2. Has a memorable name, with its own unique brand of edge
3. I was a young kid looking for a favorite and this one checked a few boxes. I knew Farfetch'd wouldn't be the coolest Pokemon in the "traditional" sense (aka who cares), but I would go on to appreciate and gravitate towards him. Farfetch'd has the qualities of the legendary trio, and is a smart, homey, challenging Pokemon. I remember and imagine myself going on adventures with my Farfetch'd.

He doesn't have an evolution, iirc, and you go around cutting grass, moving rocks, finding surprises like the Safari Zone or hearing about the Pokemon Wars, so this stork with a stick thing is rather compelling

Mostly I'm just glad to be alive, I'm gaining weight, miraculously I'm dreaming (even if I don't remember all of those dreams), my head usually has a little song or two occasionally pops up and takes over or hangs out in the background, im less lonely so that's good jk not really, some things are pretty bad now >_> I'm confident they'll get better
