Its not about being bulletproof though. There's a lot of ways to get around that with hacking. An amazing netrunner can probably get him down quickly.

Its insane how divided we always are. I blame it on a two party system.

When I was a kid we still had gameboys and Dragon Ball Z was only at Frieza saga. The internet was just budding and then a little later, Runescape was a big deal. By the time cellphones became widely used I was already out of school. Hell, I still remember being in my early 20s and having a shit phone that would drain data just by connecting to the internet.

Now phones are advanced and you can watch television on them or surf the net without having to enter a specific program just to get in.

There's not an alternative 3DS emulator as far as I know, and 3DSes are no longer sold nor is it possible to buy games for it.

Personally, I want one for VIII, with better character development for the cast members not named Squall, Rinoa, or Irvine. But this one's nothing more than a pipe dream.

Isn't there technically a confirmation on IX's remake anyway?

There's a lot of new stuff in the combat which you could consider minor. I like the synergy abilities and yeah, there's a lot more to do in the air. I was playing with Classic like I did with remake but I feel like this game wants you to be more active, especially with there being some countering now.

I'm enjoying it as well but I have a headache today so I haven't been able to play as much as I want and some of the maneuvering in the field is tough. I have to get used to the jumping and a few other things.

Love the game but damn having to climb that waterwheel place just to find a chest was making my head hurt. I think I just need a nap and some coffee and I plan to play the rest of the day.

Also, the beginning wasn't what I expected. I thought they were going to put you straight into where the demo starts but it didn't.

in all fairness, Remake is a sequel to the original. A lot of the game you are trying to defy fate by trying to overturn what happened in the first game with a lot of expected repercussions

yeah, I think it was also changed because of how the world has changed lately and it would be weird to play as a terrorist group as the good guys and they were probably trying to cover their ass, especially with all the terrorism that became a much bigger deal in America between then and now.

As much as possible. The fact that its coming out tonight just makes things great for me since I work the weekends and my days off are on Wednesday through Friday so this means I can at least put in two days' worth before going into work.

Played Remake and Crisis Core to be ready for this so I'm all in.

in the Remake, Jessie's bomb doesn't go off and the Shinra president tells the soldiers to create a bigger explosion by shooting at the reactor to make it worse. The explosion wasn't supposed to be as big as it was so it made Avalanche look like they were trying to stop civilian casualties.

I had a thing against playing licensed games back in the day but I did play that one rpg that I can't think the name of on the Gamecube which I loved but got stuck in.

Rebirth. I hear Helldivers 2 still has issues so you might want to wait on that, on the other hand, I hear from reviews that Rebirth is great and I've played the demo and enjoy some of the gameplay tweaks.

Sector 8(I think it was that sector) had a lot of destruction near the city. A lot of buildings were falling apart and electric currents above. You can safely say there had to be a few civi deaths.

Remake FVII's Avalanche's destruction was solely because of Shinra, who used it to make Avalanche look despicable but in OG FFVII it was all Avalanche baby.

I'd say that they were the lesser of the two evils but I'm a pacifist so I disagree with their views but know that it takes those actions to fight something as big as Shinra.

Yeah, it started out fairly simple, but trying to keep track of both analog sticks and point them in different directions is harder than it seemed.

For me, its keeping an eye on both of them that causes my trouble. I keep my eye on the right side and then forget the other side but ended up playing enough of it that I've just memorized when to click it down without looking directly at it. Most of the time I had to time it that I do both at the same time.

Really fun but ooh really hard. I like that it even has the notes lol. I wonder if this could be useful for learning the piano xD

Its driving me crazy but I hardly touch my PS5 since I bought my new PC but meh, rebirth will probably not come to PC for awhile and I don't know if I want to wait.

I thought of buying a new t.v. but I'm already dealing with a bunch of purchases as it is.

Screw it, I'm going to just hook it back to my T.v. My t.v. isn't great but its better than playing like this. I dont' know if its ghosting or motion blur but its just atrocious and I refuse to play Rebirth with it on.

As it turns out, it automatically switches refresh rates. I'm wondering if its the possibility of my other monitor so I'm going to try that out.

Could it be the refresh rate difference between your monitor and console? Is there a setting on the monitor that could be turned down to match the ps5 output?

It could be which is what I'm looking for. I can't find anything. I'm going to try to do a more detailed search because honestly the last time this happened was when I was playing on my dual monitors and my monitors weren't both the same refresh rate.

So I have my PS5 connected to the same monitor as my PC and I have a dual monitor set up. I tried a lot which including cutting off motion blur on my PS5 and trying to turn off Free Sync to see if its affecting it or even overdrive turned low.

I'm using a Sceptre monitor with 240hz and I've tried everything to stop the horrendous motion blur and I've googled to see if I could fix it with that.

I literally just saw a tweet comparing Dirge with Shadow the Hedgehog and saying they're the same game, lmao. I guess that should tell you what kind of game it is compared to the rest of the FFVII stuff.

And yeah, there's a chance they might remaster Dirge to drum up hype for playable Vincent in part 3.

I still think Shadow isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I think it did some things right.

Pokemon TV series is textbook examples of how not to do long running series. Season 1 Ash is kinda good but progressively getting stale to try to please younger audience.

Personally watching the most recent series, Ash was way better now than he's ever been. He felt like a cookie cutter main protagonist with very little but they added a lot of character to him in the newer stuff.

Plus, its not necessarily about the enjoyment of the series as much as its about there being a cohesiveness to it. The Digievolutions all feel...weird. Like misplaced. "Oh, this can digivolve into this or this or this" practically making it feel like there's no uniqueness to it.

It's definitely the weakest of the FF7 Compilation, but I have a soft spot for it. Its final segments are genuinely pretty cool, but it's a bit of an uphill climb to get there.

It's also pretty short, so it's not like you're dropping a ton of time into it either. I'd cautiously recommend it

is it the gameplay or the story elements that people complain about? (or both?) Crisis Core was fun but felt so off the wall and strange. I hardly know what to make of it but I got to see Cissnei which I saw in the trailer for Rebirth so I feel like I know enough now to feel satisfied about starting it.

I mostly played it because of tie ins to the games as the remakes seem to pull in from the rest of the spin offs which is really nice but worrisome too.

So I just finished Crisis Core to get prepared for Rebirth and I know Dirge of Cerberus is a sequel to VII but they show Weiss and Nero picking up Genesis and of course there's Weiss and Nero in Intergrade in Remake so they are obviously around...but I hear Dirge is terrible but wonder if I should play it or maybe hope for a remake/remaster...or just ignore it unless stated otherwise.

I don't like how convoluted the Digimon canon is.

I love the series but it feels like something new each time and its not all connected which is something I sorta like with the Pokemon t.v. series. The games are different but all connect to one another in some way.

I dunno, its hard to explain but after Digimon tamers, I sorta stopped paying attention.(I did watch season 4 though and liked it)

I miss the old days like with the Digimon World games...World 1 and 2 are really fun(even if people hated 2 and the gameplay)

I think its only something related to the six power users and possibly to give an idea of how strong each one is since they all use similar powers.

Thankfully this isn't something that suddenly becomes a big deal like in Dragon Ball.

Sadly I don't like how they worked with the bounties because now I feel like bounty numbers are useless and I don't even pay attention anymore.

I forgot about the TTYD remake so maybe I'll just wait on that...

I played superstar saga on the switch and loved. And tbh I wouldnt have liked it or even beat it without the rewind feature. I am godawful at anything timing related in games

I would have played it on the gba on switch if I hadn't found out about the remake but I remember loving it...

I already had Dream Team but I wanted Mario and Luigi Superstars and while I thought of playing it on my switch, I didn't realize there was a remake on the 3DS for some reason. I accidentally found this out when I went to buy Bowser's Inside Story. Wish they did a remaster with Partners in TIme, which I used to have, but I ended up buying the DS version for 90 bucks.

I've been in a rpg kick and watching some Did You Know Gaming has made me want to play more Mario RPGs. I plan to play the two Paper Mario games eventually as well...

oh and I bought another Mario and Luigi game but I'm not even sure its a rpg but it involved Paper Mario and it was new-ish so...just wanted to have the full list of games.
