None of this absolves the streamer of trying to trigger that person's seizures. Why is it on that person to avoid watching someone they enjoy watching play a game? Full responsibility is on the dickhead that flashed potentially seizure-inducing images on their screen for ALMOST A MINUTE. And this was AFTER the viewer donated money.

Whys it on the streamer to make sure everyone enjoys, or continuously enjoys them? Like maybe it'd be one thing if someone was like "hey i enjoy your stream, I have epilepsy" and he plays flashing lights (which is still his (dick) right to do). But he's doing something he routinely does and he's being told to not do it on his total control platform which is what Twitch is. You can get banned for any reason on a stream no matter how moral or fair or black or white it is. I don't see why it's his obligation to take care of people's needs. Why does he have to?

Dude if you are PRONE to seizures, you will AVOID situations that prone you to seizures. I really wish to leave it on that statement alone, but I have literally worked with people that are prone to seizures and there is like strict protocol on what to avoid and what to look for. We had to restrict one guy(client) from buying anything with caffeine because it could add to his seizures.

I don't know this 1 random commenter's situation but I do know it's a random comment on a huge streamer on a platform that streams games when games have seizure warnings (that shit you mash A on before the game loads) and was cognizant enough to experience the first seizure-inducing-experience to be able to type that response.

I do think that's fucked up. To you, if someone who said "fuck" during a stream and had a (non sub non mod) commenter saying "hey my kids are watching, can you not swear" to one of the biggest Twitch streamers, and they respond going "FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK", how would that be?

Is he a dick? Yeah probably. Is it his space to be a dick? Kinda yeah also. Maybe he could've been like "you shouldn't watch me if you have epilepsy", or ban that person. But he's literally there to act how he wants. I don't think it has to be taken as seriously as you want me to take it.

It's just an aggressive way to tell that person that "this stream isnt for you".

I like the sentiment of taking health issues seriously, but to fully push it in this black and white sort of way is not right to me.

I just know that I've been like "huh, this person is like actually following my development (or lack thereof please forgive me daddy)" on this board for a few different people, I think 4. I know of two usernames, there was the other prison guy earlier who pops in every now and then to make that point, I forgot about your name specifically, but once you replied to me here, your name did seem familiar.

To be fair, there are also users that follow me in good ways, like they connect with me across topics, and I don't mind that, if anything it's cool that there's people that reach out in good ways instead of bad ways.

Well I guess I appreciate you recognizing it, but also kind of surprised/intimidated that you wouldn't put that piece together. It also kinda makes me think about what a 'common dick' is versus someone with emotions, because it kinda ties into your judgment of me/people.

I'm also glad we can shift the focus back onto the original topic. While I don't think it's right for someone to specifically trigger someone else when they know it's triggering (I'm watching you), I think Twitch and Dr Disrespect is more of a public sort of platform/space. It would be like if I had hearing issues and told the DJ at a club to turn down the volume. If a streamer is bothering me, I just stop watching. Even without hearing issues, if I told a streamer that the game audio was too loud, and they blast it to distorting levels, thats sign for me to leave.

Streamers can literally ban for any reason at all. Twitch is the (weird) kinda place where you're investing into someone's stream. I think all Dr Disrespect was really telling that streamer is that this is not the place where he's gonna alter what he's doing. I can also understand that as a high-level streamer, attending to every need thrown at you is a burden, especially when any type of person can come in to say what they want.

It's also not for certain that the user that said that had confirmed epilepsy. It could've been some weird joke or they're slightly bothered by the flashing and wanted to exaggerate themselves. In the worst case scenario where this is some innocent hospital bed ridden child who is suffering pain and Dr Disrespect caused that child more pain, yeah that's different and intentional. But it's not that; it's just feels nice to assume that so you can pin someone down. This is a random Twitch comment, and he probably just has the filter to know if a person is worth engaging or not, and decided that this person, and moreso this type of person, isn't worth engaging. Does that make sense?

I think this is the most telling sentence of what I don't understand about you or people like you. I can't really tell if DrizztLink was making fun of me but maybe he was or you interpreted as so. But he's not someone that actually follows my trains of thought to "deduce" me as something or not.

I think it's a quality of a "decent" person to be able to reflect on things they say when there's emotional weight involved. You wouldn't try to attack my insecurities if I passed your metric of a "decent user"? What is a decent user? Is it someone that makes you laugh? Is it someone that doesn't bother you when you scroll down posts? Someone that reinforces what you like and doesn't reinforce what you don't like?

I have to wonder why you would engage with people that are not decent users. Do you normally try to engage with people who aren't decent? If so, what do you get out of it?

I guess the core of what I don't understand is, what do you get out of coming at me? You are not interested in me changing and after this conversation, you'll potentially lose my engagement, so like, what do you get? Is there anything you want to know specifically about me? Do you do this or think about this with other people? I don't understand where you're coming from or why you take issue with me, and I am slightly curious about it because it's weird to get negative attention like this in a place like this. Idk what your relationship status is but if you were devoid or had issues in your own romantic life, you following me from topic to topic to dig this into me would be telling of your own dynamics with other people. I personally don't really tie romantic status with someone's being, I mean even Hitler had a girlfriend. I sometimes treat CE as my 'emotional gloryhole' or whatever, where I can just post the things that have no tie to anything. I find it actually really creepy to have you (or others) notice my posts and bring up other things I've said or problems I use CE to vent about. It's my own understanding that we can/should just let people post whatever the fuck they want, but some people take it too far because it actually validates some people to bring others down in a long-term sorta way.

I have no problem shit talking someone in one thread and then the next thread, the previous argument doesn't matter and it's a blank slate. It's different if they come at me for previous topics, I'm gonna respond back like I'm doing now. I don't know what you want/get out of me but whatever it is, it probably is to a similar weight to my romantic hangups, maybe more, because I don't follow the girls that reject me.

8hit reminded me of NES chiptune music. Sounded like something that could have been stage background music in a Megaman game.

Some of the others sounded like those keyboards people got in the 80s that would use synthesized sounds for everything and you could piece together music, drums, piano, everything on the keyboard.
