Always feel a little bad putting all of an album's singles as the top songs on the album but sometimes the band/label really get it right on what to release as singles! While some songs are definitely samey, it's also surprisingly varied with other songs. A pretty perfect encapsulation of life for a teen/early 20s guy.

Because I've been out for a bit my S agents are lacking, only have Lycaon, Zhu Yuan, Jane, and Burnice. Getting Burnice seems to help my meta game a bit if I was going for that, not that I'm really since I generally rock Lycaon and Ben on the same team lol

I do like Sanby so I am still tempted to try to pull for her but I'm gonna try to hold off, if I don't get Hugo to go along with my Lycaon I'd be so sad

The worst offender of that I've found is the Wish Event dialogue in Free Roam or whatever it's called. They space out the lines so much, it's so awkward.

Speaking of dialogue, I did the Soldier 0 Anby scenario and yea new Soldier 11 seems a little rough. I might have my gripes with new Lycaon and think he isn't as good as old Lycaon but he seems to have gotten it a bit better than Soldier 11.

And I'm very behind but finally got to Inter-Knot 50, and had enough to get Lycaon and Ben to level 60 which is all I need. Some others will get to 60 in time.

It's great being able to catch up on all the stuff I missed and get all those polychromes, should have plenty for Hugo. And maybe if I'm lucky I'll go for Trigger too, she seems pretty cool as an assist

Just finished 1.6 as well, I think Hugo's great! Design and voice are right up my alley, general story is pretty standard edgy backstory stuff but I'm always a sucker for that. And I'm always down with anything involving Lycaon, but I still feel pretty much the same way about his new VA as I did before. It's fine and gets the job done but his old one had something more special to it, would love to hear some of Lycaon's lines in 1.6 done with the old one but of course that's not gonna happen.

Tempted to spend some saved pulls to try to get S Anby but I definitely want Hugo when he drops, so I'm gonna try to hold off for now.

Just got to Hugo and I remember him being fairly dramatic in Lycaon's agent story but good lord this man is not straight

Just watched it, think making it based much more around Japan is a great way to revitalize the series. Especially when they talked about how further entries started feeling a bit too westernized and was losing its Japanese identity (Homecoming, Downpour), I'm looking forward to seeing it go a bit more in the other direction for once. And as a big fan of Fatal Frame, can't be mad about getting inspiration from there either!

Yea that's pretty much where I was coming to the conclusion of, we'll see if we find out more info. New Lycaon is totally fine but there's definitely a certain charm missing, the VA is a bit more aggressive in his delivery with him which might very well fit what happens in 1.6 with Lycaon and Hugo but it also makes him sort of more...generic in a way? Not enough to ruin him or anything, but I prefer him being a bit more of the refined butler delivery.

And of course when I log in just to check some stuff out again I give the Burnice signal search a go just because I have some leftover master tapes and I actually get Burnice, after missing her when she first dropped. Also got a Pulchra for good measure.

Looking a bit more into it, it's possible it's neither the old VA's OR Studio Cadence at fault. Sounds like it just might be a mess all around, which given the industry wouldn't be a surprise either.

Also Lycaon's new VA is killing it so far as basically just trying to copy the original one, which sure yea I guess? Congrats to them I suppose

Oh I see it now, the VA studio put out a vague catch all tweet and a voice actor jumped in on it. Curious to see if original Lycaon responds to it. Although it doesn't change Soldier 11's original tweet, whether she was also with Cadence, which means they're saying she's lying too, or not which means some fishy stuff is still going on seemingly.
