• Jenna Ellis law license has been suspended for 3 years. Shell likely face more disciplinary action because of the Arizona indictment unless she somehow escapes charges. Shell have to petition for reinstatement after the 3 years is up assuming she doesnt have more action taken.
• Steve Bannon lost his appeal. Hearing next week. Possible that the judge will order the federal bureau of prisons to set a report date for him.

And this is the kicker here with Cohen's testimony, imo. The defense can rightfully call Cohen a liar because he has lied to congress, courts, his family, the Trump administration, etc... But 1) he was doing most of those lies on Trump's behalf and 2) his testimony is corroborated by evidence.

If Trump can be found criminally liable from Cohen's testimony alone if his testimony is corroborated by evidence, then the jury should find Trump guilty.

Recent updates:

• The jury is currently deliberating in Trump's first criminal trial in Manhattan, NY. The jury has been dismissed for today. Deliberations will resume at 9:30am eastern tomorrow.
• Jenna Ellis' law license was suspended for 3 years because of her guilty plea in the Georgia RICO trial. She'll likely face more disciplinary action if she pleads guilty or is convicted in Arizona. She will have to petition to reinstate her license after the 3 year time period is up, assuming she somehow escapes conviction in Arizona.
• Pre-trial motions and hearings still ongoing in the Georgia RICO trial. No trial date set yet.
• Pre-trial motions and hearings still ongoing in the classified documents case in Florida.
• We're waiting on SCOTUS to rule on Trump's absolute immunity appeal in the January 6th case in Washington, DC.
• Peter Navarro lost another appeal, still in prison for contempt of congress. Expected release is late July, I believe.
• Steve Bannon lost his appeal and a hearing is scheduled for June 6th. The DoJ wants the judge to order the bureau of prisons to set a report date for him. He was convicted on contempt of congress charges like Peter Navarro was, but the judge let him stay out of prison during his initial appeal.
• Rudy Giuliani was fired from his radio show and is now selling coffee to raise money to pay his debtors, including the $148 million judgement in the defamation lawsuit brought by the two Georgia election workers.
• Smartmatic is suing Newsmax, and apparently Smartmatic has evidence that the CEO of Newsmax deleted evidence relevant to the trial after they were given the retention notice (or whatever it's called).

So as expected, no verdict today. Maybe tomorrow or Friday. 34 charges is a lot to go through.

Republicans tried to delay the release of US hostages in Iran until after the election during Carter's presidency just to gain an advantage in the election.

Yeah, I just want convictions from this trial. I want him to go to prison for the January 6th stuff, the Georgia RICO case, and the classified documents case.

I still don't really know how a prison sentence would even work for him since he has secret service protection, but I'm willing to watch them find out. I'm still skeptical that he would go to prison if convicted in any of the cases, but we'll see.

With 34 counts, even if the jury only takes 10 minutes per charge, that is still over 5 hours of deliberation.

Yeah, I'm thinking we'll get the verdict tomorrow or Friday at the earliest.

So in a few minute, court will be in session. The judge is expected to give the final jury instructions and then the jury will be deliberating.

This is a moment I've been waiting for for a long fucking time. I really hope we get convictions. Trump has been getting away with slaps on the wrist at best for doing illegal shit for decades.

Not sure, but hopefully by Friday. Court is going to start at 10am eastern tomorrow because they went so late today. They'll get jury instructions and then begin deliberating, I think.

Then I edited it to make it a screenshot of the whole tweet, but then realized that UltimateWing posted a Tweet that tells the same story without the truncating or need for a screenshot. So I decided to delete my post.

Also another logical problem for the defense. They want to make a big deal about Michael Cohen stealing $30,000 from the Trump Organization, but... if the ~$420,000 was money he was entitled to and not a reimbursement, then he couldn't have stolen it. It would just be his to do whatever he wanted.

This is really the crux of the problem. They made up a lie about voter fraud and told that lie over and over so much that people believe it's happening all over the place without any evidence to back it up. Then they turned around and used people's mistaken belief as a reason to keep telling the lie.

Yeah, and that's the elephant the defense is trying to ignore. Yes, Cohen lied to numerous people... courts, congress, his family, etc...

But he went to prison because he committed crimes for the benefit of and at the direction of Donald Trump. It makes no sense at all for Michael Cohen to take out a home equity loan on his house to pay Stormy Daniels if Trump didn't want him to do that.

It also makes no sense for Michael Cohen to do that behind his family's back if he wasn't expecting Trump to reimburse him for the cost of it.

They would have the jury (or anyone, for that matter) believe that Michael Cohen just saddled himself with $130,000 of debt out of the goodness of his heart? Come on, now.

And that's just the plain fucking truth. The defense can rightfully call Cohen a liar and all that, but... Anyone who commits illegalities for Trump, loses their law license (or whatever career they were in), goes to prison, etc. and sees Trump just walking free and doing whatever he wants day to day SHOULD want to see him face the same punishment or worse.

It will always blow my mind that so many people are 100% willing to throw their families, freedom, livelihoods, careers, friends, etc. away to do dumb illegal shit for Donald Trump.

I'm guessing the prosecution is wanting to take ~4.5 hours to go through the specific documentation supporting each of the 34 charges, but we'll see. That's just under 8 minutes per charge.
