I still find SF6 much more fun because people are still discovering different techs to use in this game. Tekken 8 is still pretty solid though and it's one of the few fighters my wife can actually follow along and enjoys watching. The slow mo stuff just adds to the excitement, it's no wonder Tekken 7 tournaments did so well in terms of viewership numbers alone. The story in Tekken 8 was bleh, but at least there was enough crazy shit in it to keep my interest. Mortal Kombat will always be, imo, the fighting game with the best story mode...I just wish it was funner to play.

I get why they're doing this, many people have lost faith in the original DCEU to the point where even a decent movie like Blue Beetle bombs at the Box Office. The new universe is an attempt to win the comic book fans back. This unfortunate is going to be the comic book mess of "what's canon and what isn't" that will require people to do research on this shit. It's going to be a clusterfuck, but hopefully James Gunn knows what he is doing.

Wow, my post about being super judgemental was something someone can grow out of over others peoples interest did not age well, considering we have quite of few posters here doing exactly just that. I can make a list of things I find weird about others like peope who collect pervy waifu pillows and figurines, but at the end of the day is it worth trying to make fun and/or shame others for liking things? If they're not harming others, why the fuck would you need to go out of your way to do so? We all like things that other people would find weird and stupid, we don't need to stoop to such a level.

The line between fan and a "weirdo" is one drawn by each individual because it's subjective. Most of the time, if you don't care or dislike the thing the other person likes; you're more incline to think its weird that they like the thing you dislike and/or don't care for. Now not everyone's this judgemental, but I'll admit I used to be this way when I was younger but I also believe it's a mentality you can grow out of easily...imo.

I used Nintendo Adult as an example in my previous post because last week I went to a Mario theme reception for a wedding for one of my highschool friends. I got placed to sit next to a coworker of my friend and she made the comment "isn't it fucking weird, why couldn't be pick something normal as a theme for his wedding or something?" It was obvious she was trying to break the ice, but it does back up my point on what people will find acceptable and what people will find weird.

nothing wrong with enjoying something at any age but if it takes over your life, you need to get a new one.
kind of like "disney adults" or weebs where they have basically structured their life around their obsession.

My take as well. I'm noticing a lot more "Nintendo Adults" ever since Mario land opened in Universal, to the point where I think that seems to be a prerequisite for this type of thing lol.

Because that was how it was drawn the majority of the time. Anyone who's claiming that the new show "nerfs" Rogue are being disingenuous about it. Though to be fair, it was mostly peddled by anti-sjw's trying to start a culture war over nothing.

As someone who is also circumcised, you still have to wash your dick. The idea that it's somehow "cleaner" when you live in a country that has easy access to water and personal hygiene is just laughable. The "pros" for circumcision is highly exaggerated because if it really did help with things like HIV, you would think HIV rates would also be lower in places with more circumcision like North Africa. The simple fact is that even if there is any positive effects, it's extremely minimal. It's primarily a cosmetic or religious thing here in the states.

It says a lot when America is the only first world country and actively participates in baby circumcision, considering many of the "pro's" for circumcision can be circumvented by having easy access to water and personal hygiene. I understand it being a thing for third world countries, but I can only see it being primarily cosmetic and religious reasons in the states.

Wasn't Juggernaut in the second Deadpool movie? They can CGI a helmet to his head, that's what they do a lot to other movies where they have to constantly take off their helmet to talk and show their face (because it's in the contract or something). With that said, I can understand having a bad experience with it and maybe the producers, director, and Ryan Reynolds themselves wanted him to be in the actual helmet from the previous movie in order for this cameo to work. I respect his wishes though, because Juggernaut was probably the only memorable thing about the third movie.

The music was phenomenal, but the actual story itself is bleh. I get the appeal and why it was such a big deal back then that changed the Broadway musical market (and ultimately played a big role and inspiration to the musical Hamilton and Into the Heights). It's just a story about regular and one of the few times people can actually relate to it because of how diverse the story was back then, it was definitely a product of its time though.
