Main problem for Bartz is hes only really better than the mains before him and otherwise is like only better than Vaan or Terra if you want to count her

The latter could very well be because of TV mode being retired, but we might never know for sure if they planned this route all along or not. I dont think the story bits with Hugo & Vivian were bad, but they werent really good enough to warrant being as big as they were. Id have preferred S Anby and Trigger getting a much bigger story focus with Vivian and Hugo being side story stuff. Still not bad content, but doesnt match the peak that Sons of Calydon was.

Version 2 should give us a lot of new stuff to see and maybe a bigger idea of where everything is going to go story wise. Fairy has kinda fallen off with TV mode being axed, but Im sure theyll work something out there and we still have those other AI from way back at the start to run into eventually too

I got 7 stars on DA for the first time! Downside is I only got 1 on Bringer because wow does the Lycaon/Soukaku/Ellen team suck ass against it despite the ice weakness. Might be able to get 8 stars using something else, but if not whatever I got the polys which is the main prize

I do have E6S1 Topaz yeah. Investing in victory means playing the long game so eventually Ill have characters I like to run in a full FUA comp. I can probably try to make Topaz, Cipher, Tribbie, Xueyi work for me til theres enough 5* FUA units I like
