| FrozenBananas 12/11/24 6:39:12 PM #3 | yeah its best not to question too much, its more about the experience and atmosphere. the infected definitely have some sense of whats going on, so theyre aware when another is infected. (We also see a bunch of infected sleeping / hiding together during the day time in 28 Days.) I dont think we ever got an actual explanation, even back in 2002, on what the virus actually is. Its basically pure rage and activates violent primal urges in the infected. But I think the writers needed reasons for the virus to spread quickly so we never get much answers. and to be fair, if this really did happen, the small amount of survivors WOULD be confused, the government wouldnt be telling them anything and theyd be left on their own, just like in the movie --- Big yellow joint big yellow joint I'll meet you down at the big yellow joint |

They have a nice 8-12 episode structure per season, which I like because we as the viewers can easily chart the character arcs for each season. Theyre like really long films. Watched a ton of FX this past year, binged all of Justified, The Shield (rewatch) and Sons of Anarchy (half rewatch, half new). FX may be my favorite original programming, as its been a little more consistent than HBO (which used to be my favorite) Apple TV was also great this year , a Jake Gyllenhaal show Presumed Innocent, and I just binged their Bristish spy show Slow Horses as well. If they HAD played it, theyd see that its so much more. And it only gets bigger the more you play it. But it sounds like you didnt play that much of it if you still say its DLC I compare it more to Majoras Mask. It builds off of the game before it, while introducing new trippy ideas and styles. And it also provides way more interesting and fun side quests than its predecessor did, which it also has in common with MM. Far-Queue posted... Ultrahand/Fuse is one of the most satisfying gameplay mechanics in any game. The myriad of items that can be combined, coupled with the freedom they afford the player to experiment is just plainly awesome and it blows my mind seeing some of the stuff people more creative and/or smarter than me come up with Fuse/ Ultrahand is wild, and so it Ascend. It completely changes the way you can explore caves / dungeons / temples. I cant believe how massive of a game it is, its like 3 open worlds on top of each other, seamlessly working at the same time. So needless to say I get almost nowhere with them. Ive just come to the conclusion that Ill have to fight it for the rest of my life on a daily basis. I did get a cat about 12+ years ago, hoping shed help with anxiety but she passed away about a year ago. She had major anxiety as well, especially when Id have to leave for work every day.
