The judge is probably gonna go easy on him because he wants to avoid success with appealing the sentence. It could be interesting to give him the minimum punishment but then give him a month in jail for that 1 gag order violation that hadn't been adjudicated on. That way he has no way to appeal the sentence but still has to spend a month in jail.The other thing to remember is that this usually comes with probation.
