Has anybody else found that most people dislike Shakespeare dislike the language more than the actual stories? We had were assigned at least one Shakespeare play each year in high school and from what I remember, he was generally well liked except for the now archaic language that amused some and irked others.

In HS we read a version of Shakespeare that was "translated" into more modern English so it wasn't that bad.

I haven't thought about Degrassi in a longass time. I would occasionally watch it whenever it aired on TeenNick. The whole Adam storyline might've been the first time I heard the term 'transgender' in my life.

I think the people behind Degrassi also did a show called "Open Heart" and I liked that one. I don't think it got a second season though.

I'm surprised Toonstrack lasted this long, his posts almost always seem engineered to annoy people and even when he's being good faith he comes off as excessively abrasive and not fun to talk to.

I don't really know his history but I wanted to believe Toon's heart was in the right place, he was just too naive and stubborn. Although maybe I'm not the best judge of character.

FRED was the first YouTube channel to get a million subs iirc. But the channel's creator Lucas ended it like a decade ago. He made another channel but IDK if he still does stuff.
