Worked back of house at a restaurant at 16 and one of the sous chefs was just mad at the world and his station in life. Hed frequently try bullying me and some of the younger servers. Idk where he is now, but Im assuming it isnt good.

Apple Music here, yeah there are downsides (like regional locking) but in general I prefer streaming to owning stuff.

Pretty early on into a job I worked for a few years there were two older ladies that didnt like me and actively tried to get me in trouble a couple times. It never succeeded. I became friends with one of them eventually weirdly enough

I work for the govt but they dont pay into social security. idgi but I get a pension so I guess that's supposed to be a replacement?

I would say they will likely end or drastically change Medicare for non-disabled people born after 1984 and replace it with a voucher program or a public/private option like Obama tried to do before Obamacare. Private companies didn't want it then but since COVID I think they'll be singing a different tune. They can pass the risk to the government and make a ton of money after the Baby Boomers die out.

Medicare is a huge part of the soc security deficit . Etc.... ? Just doing this would be enough?

Probably raise or eliminate the cap on Social Security tax. Cutting benefits is practically asking to be voted out so the only way left to keep Social Security from running out of money is to raise more tax revenue.

What exactly is that cap on social sec tax? Have heard of it vaguely

Also, Eugene Levy (Jims Dad) was a well regarded comedic actor for a decade before he got this role. Also went on to be in Schitts Creek.

iirc he was not in wedding or reunion, he was great in 1 though, great in 2 as well. Yeah i don't believe he was in the other ones. Didn't do much after the pie movies though.

i liked jim's mom and dad a lot too. Easily the actor, stifler had the best hollywood career right?, many of them were good actors imo

Being Austrlaian, we kinda get some of this stuff. It hasn't really been front and centre until the announcement today.

I do listen to a few UK based podcasts which have made jokes about her going missing, part of that context was a little lost on me.

I find the people who obsess over the royals a bit odd. The royals aren't really relevant any more....or ever, really. They're just kinda there and don't do anything of any note or substance.

isn't it like much much more women who are more interested in news about them than men? not sure if this is fact or not though

i mean even before today's news. They're frequently the subject of many tabloids and stuff. so many people do like to read that stuff

I think getting caught by a radar detector-detector is less of a risk than them pulling you over for speeding and seeing the radar detector itself, IIRC at least older models were pretty conspicuously visible on top of the dashboard.

I live in Maryland but drive in Virginia a lot and it's not worth risking an additional fine, VA is already pretty trigger happy when it comes to slapping people with reckless driving charges.

How much is addl detector fine? You agree with the law?

If you shower daily, eat healthy, and don't sweat by just standing around then no you don't need deodorant.
