I didnt enjoy it as much as I hoped

I think with all the Godzilla movies I watched growing up Im accustomed to watching him fight other Kaiju, so watching him conflict with people wasnt as interesting to me

Maybe, the last generation or so got pushed pretty hard on the stigma against the trades/blue collar work in favor of white collar work so who knows if itll bounce back

I liked it. Objectively speaking it definitely wasnt a great movie, but I enjoyed the idea behind the concept of world they created enough that I was able to watch it and be entertained

Fandoms acquisition has had little to no impact, CE as a message board has been on a heavy downswing on its own since at least 2014 (being generous).

There was no real positive reason to come here before fandom anyways. Ive been coming here purely out of habit for the last 10 years. Gone are the days of the late 2000s/early 2010s when actual fun/funny/interesting conversations were had on CE.

For me Better Call Saul was great but every season felt like it was a slow build up to a huge BB-esque moment that ended up being enjoyable but underwhelming, until the last 2 seasons at least.

I prefer the roller coaster ride that was Breaking Bad. I still remember sitting on the edge of my seat with excitement/anxiety during my first watch through. Never really had that with BCS.

I maintain my opinion that Eminem hasnt put out a good body of work in 20+ years.

It kinda sucks for her that she got drafted by the worst team in the WNBA. All these high expectations for her coming in and shes forced to play with a below average team around her where even if she plays well shes still losing and people are talking shit. Even if she wasnt playing as well as expected being on a winning team at least keeps your stock fairly neutral.

I also dont understand the contempt the rest of the league seemingly has for her. She seems pretty humble and doesnt talk negatively about anyone yet many seem to dislike her through no fault of her own. In fact the only impact she has had has been undeniably positive, she pretty much was the catalyst for womens basketball exploding in popularity in the last 2 years.

Im 32 now and I remember the name of every teacher from pre-school to 8th grade.

9th-10th I remember faces but very few names. 11th-12th I got kicked outta regular high school and got sent to a much smaller academic program at a technical high school and I remember everyone there.

Next year will be my 20th year here on GFAQs/CE, and to be honest I probably stopped enjoying coming here around 2014/15. Ive been coming back simply out of habit not because I enjoy it anymore.

Ive never posted that much, but many of the users that have remained since the boards started dying in the early 2010s are the terminally online unhinged types and tbh its made the place pretty toxic. CE used to be fun, but its been a pretty miserable/negative place for a while now.

I think its time for it to die.
