Never EVER pay full retail price for a refurbished console.
It's just a stupid move financially, as you don't have any sort of manufacturer warranty to rely on. And if it's been refurbished, then it had had at least one issue in the past.

She could have placed a new order with the correct information but instead decided she would rather throw a tantrum about wanting an immediate cash refund.

I guess I was in the wrong too for denying service to this woman who was so fucking intoxicated that she could not tell the difference between a credit card number and phone number even though I explained it to her half a dozen time including talking to her like she was 3 years old. She would have passed the fuck out before the driver showed up anyway and that would have cost us because we would have had to cancel the order and throw out the product. Not to mention that because she was trying to give me her phone number as a credit card number, I had no way to process the order in the first place. I was patient and I wasted more of my time than I should have trying to get the right info from her but in the end I had to tell her she was too drunk to order, and it was within company policy to refuse service to intoxicated people.

Then there was a guy trying to order to an address that didn't exist (he wasn't even in the right state) and he called my manager the c word, causing her to hang up on him. He kept calling back. She instructed me to pretend to take his order and just not put anything in the system just to troll him and get him to fuck off. He called back again so I did exactly that. Made it to the end of the conversation when he said "and make sure you have that <c word> deliver it personally so I can punch her in the face." I don't know why we had a bullhorn in the store but we did and it was under the counter near me so I grabbed it and screamed "FUCK YOU" through it into the phone as loud as I could before hanging up. He did not call back again.

Stop projecting, please. This isn't what happened. After a customer gave the wrong address AND the wrong phone number, what else was he supposed to do? Just sit on the active order all night, thus actually holding somebody's money without the means to deliver their order?

No. You cancel it because you lack the information to complete it. That isn't TC's fault in the slightest. You don't trip over yourself to fix the customer's mistake on a busy night. Giving the refund was the correct move. Showing up in person to whine and throw a tantrum was the wrong move, which is what the customer chose to do.

She (or her daughter as the case may be) could have just said "Oh, I'm sorry, could you please take my order again? This is the correct address/phone number:" on the phone. It wasn't TC's mistake. It was the customer's mistake. Keep that in mind, please.

Allow the customer the dignity of taking responsibility for their own mistakes, alright?

Except he didnt cancel the order until the woman was at the store. He did it out spite. She was there, in front of him, asking about her order. He had the means to complete it as the woman was right there. THEN he canceled it, out of spite for an ego trip.

All he had to do, was explain what happens and throw her order, which is already paid for, back in. Real simple.

False, the issue was handled properly based on the systems in place. The lady was the one who fucked up, so it's not on TC to fix her mistake. The TC also pointed out that the restaurant was busy that night, with a 2 hour wait time, which means there's not really time to just "throw a pizza and wings in the oven real quick" because other people (who didn't screw up their order) were waiting.

This isn't TC's fault at all.

He had time to argue with her and call the cops on her, he had time to redo her small order.

Its not getting free shit. Its correcting a mistake. Regardless of whose mistake it is. Its a pizza and some wings, the woman wasnt looking for free shit, she just wanted what she ordered. We have hundreds of customers daily. I'm perfectly fine losing one that says they refuse to leave my store based on something that's out of my control.
