This works for me, but I have to start drinking again literally the moment I wake up. Once the hangover kicks in, there is no going back. I can really only do it on day drinking days.

This is pretty naive. Its very difficult to quit a job without having another one lined up or solid liquid savings unless you live with your parents or something. Being a bartender living in Vegas, it probably isnt a stretch to say he didnt have a huge savings account. If you cared to finish the article, youd see he had to move out of state when he stopped getting shifts. It wasnt as easy as walking into the next job.

FighterZ is the best game with DB characters. Its very well made with tight gameplay and fun. It isnt a great representation of how DB characters fight or making players feel like they have the power of a DB character, so I dont call it the best DBZ game (best imo is still LoG2).

Pokmon doesnt get dinged for graphics because graphics have never been the selling point of Pokmon. If it does the other things well, it can easily get by on serviceable graphics. It would certainly be nice if it had higher visual fidelity, better animations, 4K, 60fps, but it doesnt need that to be an enjoyable game. This is also a series marketed towards children, so the simple aesthetic is part of the design.

imo, loss of life is always a tragedy. I have less sympathy for people in some self-inflicted situations, but it doesnt lessen the tragedy. I do try not to let the specific circumstances shape my sympathy with what we know about mental health now. There are typically always unseen factors even in some cases that appear cut and dry.

Yeah, really bad end game situation coaching. Chiefs made great plays, but they shouldnt have gotten the chance.

Legos are kinda expensive, but as mentioned by several others there quality is worth it imo. If you just want to build something, I'd recommend looking into model kits. Depending on what you're looking for, pricing doesn't break the bank. There are levels to how complex you do or don't want to get. I picked up a few of the simpler ones during the pandemic, and it was more beginner friendly than I thought. Kinda wish I didn't wait so long to try my first one.

It isnt really an owning vs renting discussion. The same principle would apply to a mortgage. Its pretty obvious to say that everyone would be in much better shape if they didnt have debt and didnt have to pay for housing. That is where most peoples income goes to.

Depends if it's passive or active entertainment. People really care whether some rich, ego-inflated athletes win or lose a game. Riots can form after championship games, and I don't see that happening with most other forms of entertainment.

Rick and Morty fans. There aren't enough bad ones to start riots, but their behavior is abhorrent. Pretty much every content creator or person with a modicum of fame or celebrity receive death threats. One of the big differences is sport fans have a much easier time congregating into large groups. Crowds always make worse decisions than individuals.

I wish I learned earlier in life that a Gifted diagnosis was more disability than blessing. I never learned to apply myself or study/do homework properly. And the follow up of dealing with crushing disappointment and failure later in life than is developmentally healthy.

US education being unable to teach kids how to study or apply themselves to schoolwork is a separate issue from gifted programs.

Not the way they do it in this movie, but they each resurrected the other once in the original trilogy. Thats a pretty otherworldly feat that they did together.

I disagree. The part I didnt like was getting to what I thought was the climax then realizing I was only halfway through. I like going through most of Ellies story, killing the people responsible for Joels death, then getting their perspective from Abbys POV. The deaths hit harder in retrospect and made me question both protagonists.

But when i say Abby gets everything and wins, I mean she gets to save and walk away with a friend, she gets to have her revenge, while ellie loses everything (alone and miserable), and 2 of her fingers rare gone, she doesnt even get to avenge her father figure (which is a whole other bad writing can of worms after causing gallons of dog and human blood to spill, suddenly this isnt ok), she never gets her closure with joel, and gets nothing, and has nothing to be happy about while the absolute sadist psychopath gets everything, even though her reasoning for revenge is poorly written

So for Abby "everything" means she was able to keep one person alive and all of the other terrible things that happened to her didn't matter. That is a really weird way to define it.

They both have a place to go back to if they so choose to. Ellie probably more so than Abby actually. Abby paid a heavy price for her revenge as well (pretty much all of her friends). Its just disingenuous to say one paid for their revenge significantly more than the other or that one is in a much better position at the end of the game. They both paid a price and both are in a pretty shitty spot for it.

What you took away from the game was Abby ends up having everything?

We have a fundamental disagreement if you think the dogs in LoU2 are just scouts. They are absolutely bred and raised to kill their enemies. The fact that they know their allies from their enemies doesnt change that.

The opposing faction has dogs that you are pretty much forced to kill. It is incredibly difficult if possible at all to clear areas and progress the game without doing so. Dogs are also OP and can kill you quickly.

She's hot. Good on her for finding a way to make money. But this does lessen my opinion of people buying this stuff. Just why?

I loved season 1. So excited for 2 tomorrow. Prior to seeing 1, I hadnt read any of the books or played any of the games. Since watching I read all the books and am on the midst of a play through of the first game. I really enjoy the world.

Sarcasm aside, to this point no MCU film has made any TV show required viewing. The D+ shows are canon. The other shows are not. Canon shows/movies may reuse actors, but that does not retroactively make their series canon.

SM1 and 2 for PS2/Xbox were great. They are very different games though.
