We had an amazing manager who was unjustly fired (rather, he put in a MONTH's notice and was going to help the owners find a replacement) and he was let go the next day. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) the job had too many perks for me and others to show up for our manager and we didn't want to risk losing our jobs by speaking out. I remember my friend telling me about Binding of Isaac when it came out, and he was addicted. He showed it to me and I was like, what is this garbage? It looks terrible. I had no interest, but eventually I got whatever humble bundle that it was in and gave it a shot, and have been hooked ever since. I still think the art direction is pretty bad, but it also has a sort of charm that I've warmed up to. --- |
