Also, full service used to be the norm and then gas stations started giving discounts to people to pump their own gas. Since they don't have to pay an employee to pump gas they passed the savings on to us. My whole county has like two internet companies total (and of course there's only one covering each house) and their service sucks. People go days without internet. You get 1/5th the promised speed. Like it's crappy. Our county would LOVE comcast because while it's' more expensive it's at least usually stable. I think realistically I just discovered something that most people have known for a long time and have given up caring about or trying to enforce.
