There are less things that are obvious going in that direction, at least once you get top surgery.
Trans women have issues with shoulders, chest width, hand size, facial hair(estrogen doesnt do much in that regard), etc. and it takes a lot of time and effort to fix your voice (though its actually totally possible!): all things that make us easier to clock. Plus, society is just generally way harder on women when it comes to their appearance.

We make out way better with bottom surgery though, and being a tall girl aint half bad. Everything goes out the window if you prevent the wrong puberty from occurring, of course.

Yes, Trump very much takes credit for the vaccines because they happened while he was president. As they are, in his mind, one of his biggest accomplishments (something no one else could do, he thinks) they must be promoted and protected because he did them and supported them and therefore they are good and everyone should praise him and thank him for the vaccines.

Anything else (like the fact he had nothing to do with the development of the vaccines or that his supporters typically view them as evil or whatever) is extraneous.

I actually did a research paper on the opioid epidemic for my Psychology of Addiction course. It's super depressing stuff.
Basically, Purdue Pharma was the trailblazer, marketing its miracle drug Oxycontin, which time-released a massive opioid dose, directly to doctors, often with (paid) doctors and fluffed-up journal articles and medical studies, making the following basic arguments:
1) There was a massive, untreated epidemic of chronic pain
2) The addictiveness of opioids and opiates had been greatly exaggerated
3) Their patented time-release mechanism made their drug perfectly safe
When other pharmaceutical companies saw Purdue's success, they eagerly piggy-backed on it, and the use of opioid and opiate painkillers exploded. Of course, Purdue hadn't bothered to study any of their claims, and it turned out the last two were completely false, of course.

Oh, and OxyContin helpfully came with a warning not to grind or crush the pills to disable the time-release mechanism. The dosage was meant to be taken twice a day (which was a huge customer-facing marketing pitch: that you wouldn't wake up in pain in the middle of the night) but it was so high some patients went to their doctors literally suffering from opioid withdrawal while between dosages.

I think we may be too focused on quickly labeling things that some parents may in fact be affecting their children's development in negative ways. In the same way that telling a child "you're A so you cannot do B things" can potentially mess them up, the idea that "you're not A but actually C" could also similarly be instilled into them even if they're not C. While there are certainly processes like doctors and therapists that can factor into making sure the child is mentally healthy, it's not guaranteed all parents will go down that route. To be clear, I don't think this is likely to be any kind of widespread phenomenon, but it is something to think about.

It really is insane that we're basically the only "developed" country where medical debt and student loan debt are such massive problems.
Unfortunately, those respective industries have grown very fat and wealthy and wield a great and pernicious influence over public policy.

I would much rather be spending money on electrolysis than student loans, personally. Really...anything else. It would even be better for the economy!

Yeah, no. My brain says Im a woman and was miserable in its testosterone-soaked hell. I looked at other women not just with desire, but jealousy. From a young age, I would fantasize about turning into a girl. When I got my legs waxed a few months into HRT, I couldnt stop running my hands over my legs. I occasionally get choked up over how much better I like aspects of my body, especially my budding breasts. I feel more whole, and its only been six months. Even people Im not out to frequently comment that I seem happier.

Deconstructing gender roles would help me and other trans people by removing social animus and making it broadly socially acceptable to experiment with our presentations and equip us with knowledge, therapy, and prompt medical assistance to help us be what we were born to be.

I'm actually fairly happy now, pretty much from the day I popped my first little blue and little yellow pills (estradiol and spironolactone, respectively). Progesterone joined the party 3 months ago and gave me stability and is doing good work on my curves. I've had a remarkably easy and positive time coming out to friends and family, and I'll soon be out to everyone I feel like I need to be before I just..come out completely.
I'm the Queen of Tomorrow, you see.

It's fun, but the level design bugs me. I don't really know why, but a lot of obstacles just feel kind of arbitrary and unsatisfying.

You also basically have to really search for Past posts in later levels, which is annoying. It would feel more thematic if the challenge was more getting sufficient speed for long enough than hunting down the one Past post in the Present. Especially given how much more platforming and exploration focused the game is relative to other Sonic games.
There's also not a lot of variation between time periods, in terms of obstacles and level objects. It's mostly aesthetic.

I've been incredibly fortunate in that none of my coworkers have died from COVID. Work in a Whole Foods.
One of the anti-vaxxers even got it and lived (thank God, they're one of my absolute favorite coworkers aside from being into reams of psuedo-science BS).

It's worse than 2 and 3 as a game, but still good and both soundtracks are loaded with absolute bangers.

The funny thing is that the subject line gives away the gist of the report, which suggests the Biden administration desperately wants to pretend it cant forgive student loan debt but the law says they can.

This is (part of) why I didnt vote for Biden: I couldnt convince myself the former senator responsible for making student loan debt non-dischargeable and who mocked loan forgiveness advocates was ever serious about forgiving a dime. I believed my lying eyes and ears instead.

Capital One has treated me well. They gave me an excellent sign-up bonuses: I got a $500 bonus once I had spent $2,000 and didnt have to worry about interest for a year plus. I only had to carry a balance recently due to a surprise bill, but the interest on the thing isnt even bad, for a credit card, so it only hurt a little. Theyre very transparent about everything too.

Meanwhile, I get 1.5% cash back and little statement credits for certain online shopping sites. Its probably saved me a nice chunk of change.

There was a leftist Democrat that ran for West Virginias other Senate seat and she only got 27.0% of the vote.

When Joe Manchin is out of office that will be one seat that Democrats wont be able to get back for a long time if ever.

The Dems also spent zero dollars on her, and she didnt do that much worse than the loser they spent tens of millions on in Kentucky. You could also blame Manchin somewhat for not even trying to help the party grow its brand.

Lastly, Paula Jean Swearingen alleges she was sexually harassed by campaign staff (I assume someone she didnt have authority over). She has since renounced the Democratic Party.
