Given the type of game it is I doubt it's pay to win. But yeah pay for new characters pay for new costumes. But in a competitive game like this giving someone an advantage via money would ruin the whole experience.

It's probably going to work like a moba where it's like "Batman free this week, pay $8 if you want to keep playing him next week"

They'll also no doubt sell shit like explosion effects and taunts, especially if the taunts have vocal components.

That's worth a lower salary.

Essentially that's what I'm thinking. Like I'll probably be making less money when I'm retired anyway so it's better to have a little taste of retirement before I'm too old to really enjoy it.

I can always make more money I can't necessarily get back the time.

Looks better than the Nick game people here were shilling and also has characters people care about unlike the other Smash clones like Brawlhalla so I think this will do well.

Brawlhalla has its own niche. It's different enough from smash that you'd need to adjust to playing it and there's a bigger focus on ATs.

CTE altered behavior is unpredictable but it's always there. While plenty don't become abusive monsters, very few live their lives as they always have. There's a football player with dementia so bad he can't speak and doesn't recognize himself when shown pictures or videos of his career. He's not violent but that doesn't mean what the NFL is doing is okay.

Concussions.

We found out a while ago (I think 2007-2008ish?) that concussions are much much much more serious than doctors used to believe.

They cause permanent long term damage to the brain and head injuries suffered while concussed are absolutely devastating. Basically a huge amount of brain dramage, strokes, mood swings, loss of muscle control, paralyzation etc was due to people with concussions taking another hit.

CTE - Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy

The layman jargan for it is multiple concussions multiply the damage rather than add the damage.

Imagine we could quantify head trauma into numbers and say someone gets head injury/concussion that's a 4 in damage.

If they then take 4 damage head injury while sttill concussed. That's not 8 in damage to the brain. It's 16.

If they take another it's not 12 in damage to the brain. It's 64.

The NFL has been fighting tooth and nail to try to ignore this because it's so profitable. It's a nasty sport.

To their credit Rugby Union has tried their damnedest to make the sport safer since this revelation. The NFL just doesn't give a shit.

But yeah that's why former NFL players lose their minds at such a high a rate. That's not a turn of phrase, they are literally losing their sanity and grip on reality.

It's also what essentially happened with Chris Benoit. His signature move was the flying headbutt.

Not full smooth HD looking ones. Its why Sword and Shield had so many issues. They had only had 3DS quality sprites and had to start from scratch. Gamefreak isnt as big a company as people think. It still takes time to make the models look presentable. As the fans will let them know if it looks bad

That's not true either. The HD models for everything are still in Pokemon Go minus I think like 3 of them including rotom.

Its very obvious that the jump from Gameboy/DS/3DS was bigger than GF or TPC are willing to admit.

Some of the newer Pokmon arent the same art style as this remake. Its not as easy as it was to do the modeling.
