I have lots of fun building management stories. A gate wouldn't necessarily stop anyone from getting in. Depending on how many people live there and are coming and going, that gate would be open enough for the thieves to get in anyway. All I've ever seen a gate do was stop the benign homeless just looking for a place to sleep, which is good, but they aren't the ones who smash car windows. Those guys have a plan and are really hard to stop. On-site security and cameras to see and chase them out right away is all I've seen work.

Not to say Anadad shouldn't put up a gate, I just wouldn't expect it alone to help against break-ins.

I mean, this is like arguing that you shouldnt lock your door because determined thieves can break in anyway.

I think you are seriously underestimating how many low effort crimes of opportunity can be prevented just by having a gate. In any case, that is obviously the first, absolute minimum effort step that should be taken, and the unwillingness to do even that much speaks volumes about his attitude, if nothing else.

Something far more important than this dumb mystery: tell your dad to stop being a fucking slumlord. If he owns an entire goddamn apartment building, he can damn well afford to install a fucking gate.

CoD has just been on a general downward slide since what, Advanced Warfare? With a minor uptick for Modern Warfare 2019. It has also seen dropping sales (heavily for the last two) and that is an issue when it is literally the only thing you make anymore. Hard to see how Kotick survives this when it looked rough even in good conditions.

If things have been trending down so hard, why was Kotick able to renew his contract recently for massive bucks?

And then he will try to use his long standing hatred of their games to claim that he knew there had to be shady shit going on within the company itself all along. And then brag about how he is so much smarter than all of us for being ahead of the curve in hating them.

Also this may go without saying but if you run a game and get a Manald Heal and a Nagelring to drop I would say it's probably worth it to full clear the entire game. No joke. Literally every area or at least the areas that can't drop Dwarf Star or Raven Frost. Getting a ring to roll unique on a drop that isn't as likely to roll unique is going to be more likely than getting that 1/31 or 1/16 roll on an Andariel unique ring drop

I wouldnt even avoid the areas that can drop Raven Frost tbh. Its a hell of a booby prize. Even if you dont need it theres always someone looking to trade for one.

Going back to standard timezones without DST is preferable because it aligns most closely with surrounding timezones. To give an example, Ontario is talking about getting rid of DST, but going to a permanent DST. The problem with that, is now when you go to the next timezone (which is actually technically before the Manitoba border) it will be a 2 hour time skip as you would be going from UTC-4 to UTC -6

Also, there's the stupidity of having places like Toronto/Windsor being in the same time zone as Halifax/the caribbean.

I mean, the obvious solution to this problem is for everyone to go to permanent DST!

There's a lot of legacy stuff holding the servers back from what it was like in the early 2000s. The main problem is they're worldwide now instead of regional and the game just wasn't really built to handle that. So in the interim they implemented this queue system until they're able to figure out a better solution.

Yep. Somehow the geniuses behind this project decided that instead of actually rewriting the netcode of a 20 year old game they would just rush it out the door with some hastily cobbled together patches. We are now seeing what a great idea that was!

Im going to disagree pretty hard on the reviews dont matter idea. Marvel Studios has been a mark of quality since it started, lets not forget how bad most superhero movies were before Iron Man. Even the good series each had two good films then went down hill quite fast, Superman, Burton/Schumacher Batman, X-Men, Spider-Man, Blade It was fairly slim pickings and when a good franchise popped up they never stayed good.

Lets not forget Nolan Batman and reboot X-Men! Even they followed the pattern of 2 good movies then poop.
