I used to. Don't really have anyone to cook for, so no point in making a huge dinner.

But I used to make the most amazing turkey. It took me over 2 days to prepare it. I'd start on Tuesday morning making the brine, then the turkey would soak until it was time to cook on Thursday.

I would sit the turkey above a pan full of potatoes, carrots, onions, and tomatoes. One year I tried parsnips but they didn't quite work out. Sweet potatoes or yams probably would have been good too. The juices from the turkey would drip onto the veggies and they'd come out tender and delicious.

Everything else in the meal paled in comparison to the turkey and the veggies.
