This is a weird one, but I find werewolf transformation scenes kind of hot. It's not a furry thing, I don't give a shit about the actual werewolf, just the scene where he turns into one.

I think it comes from watching the "attractive dude rips his shirt off to reveal a hairy chest" thing in those kinds of scenes at some pivotal moment in my teen years.

I have never seen a picture of the dude where he looks clean. I have googled pictures of him at the red carpet and he still looks like it's been six months since he took a dip in the local crick.

DS9 worked really hard to redeem them. Quark in particular was played by Armin Shimmerman who also played one of the Ferengi in that first episode and felt he had to make up for it lol.

S3 is better, but you do unfortunately need the rest of S2 to...well, not understand it. But you know.

Of all people, I think Jim Sterling had the best argument against video game violence desensitizing people to real violence. He made a video which included Budd Dwyer's on-air suicide. He pointed out that he'd previously made a video which included that footage and he got a lot of complaints that he hadn't put enough of a warning ahead of it. A lot of comments also talked about how disturbing, upsetting, and hard to watch it was.

His videos cater to gamers, but they were the ones upset by footage of real life violence. The brain is able to tell the difference between fiction and reality and the former doesn't desensitize you to the latter.

Let me clear things up for you. These guys aren't striking for fair compensation, they're pissy about a vaccine mandate and the big trucker union in Canada isn't backing them up.

Doing a quest in RDR2 where you have to bring a cougar pelt into town to sell to a butcher. Accidentally run into a dude, he starts shooting at me which shuts the entire town down. After killing him - which is already a risk because self-defense usually puts a bounty on your head - I have to wait around for five minutes for the butcher to walk back to his stall.

Gun maintenance? The survival mechanic with the various cores? Being forced into a slow walk at camp? Your horse not responding if it's too far away? Fast travel forcing you to watch a traveling cutscene? Animal carcasses rotting? Having a body looting mechanic and then have NPCs constantly tell you to do the next part of the quest when there's a field of corpses to profit from? All of these things add nothing to the game, they're just annoying.

Yes, it's a guilty pleasure.

I think part of it is that no one I know IRL shares my tastes though.

Depending on the time frame, you'd have to work for the Pride who also aren't great to work for.

Marvel NYC is immediately out because the Punisher exists. If that's not enough, there are also the frequent alien invasions and shit like that.

In Gotham, you're almost certainly going to have to join one of the gangs. Either you end up working for a supervillain who's going to eventually murder you in a fit of pique or you work for a mob boss who will eventually go to war against a supervillain that will get you killed by a supervillain. And then if you do get caught by Batman, he is going to be the absolute dogshit out of you. And just in general, Gotham is a shithole. There's a reason Poison Ivy can always find an abandoned toxic waste dump to set up shop in.

In Metropolis, you have to deal with Superman. It'll be easier for him to catch you, but he's just going to crumple your gun and take you to jail. He's not going to beat the shit out of you because he doesn't have to. The supervillains are generally a little more reasonable than Gotham's. Much nicer place to live than Gotham. The only downside is that you're going to occasionally get invaded by the forces of Apokolips, but you're a superstitious cowardly villain which means you're likely to survive. And if you do get in trouble, Superman will probably save you.

I think a big part of it is that the first few hours of the game are genuinely 10/10.

Dennis is heavily implied to be a serial killer/rapist, so I feel like he's automatically at the top of the list.

Charlie is probably the least worst, but I haven't seen about half of the show at this point.

The lead character in LoT is a bisexual woman. LoT also has Constantine who had an entire season-long storyline about one of his ex-boyfriends. And Gary who had a casual fling with Constantine last I watched. Actually I think there are more queer characters in LoT than straight ones.

Fun update: I now have a canker sore from having a cough drop in one spot for so long. Relatively first world's problem given what covid does to other people, but it still sucks.

Also lowkey mad that my brother - who I more or less got this shit from - had no symptoms when he's unvaccinated and I feel like shit and miss two weeks of work after a booster.
