No, I'd say it's the 'both sides' nonsense people say, acting as if both sides are equally responsible for the problems. Yes, Democrats are part of the problem. But they're the missing doorknobs to the Republicans sinkhole swallowing the entire house.

It's all identity politics, then, now, forever. Paid Family Leave is out.

...I hate our politicians so much. How do we live in one of the only countries in the world where paid family leave is considered controversial? And yeah, it's mostly Manchin and Sinema. But we shouldn't let Republicans off the hook. Paid Family Leave should have bipartisan support if we had NORMAL political parties instead of the far right-kookery paid shills that we have in the Republican Party. The day the Republican party dies will be a great day for America. If it ever comes, and I don't have faith it will. Or if it does, something worse will come out of it.

I thought latest reports were that Gillibrand cornered Manchin and insisted she would not vote for the bill without it in.

I guess you could argue that the event wasn't supposed to be about how both sides are equally bad and thus nobody should take politics seriously, but that's kind of what it felt like.

I mean it's been years since I watched anything from that rally but I can definitely say I never got the vibe of "don't care about the issues" from it.

Actually down to 3 achievements. Two are reasonable (100% Asteroid Coaster and get through a level without collecting a ring) but I just saw that the last one is completing the Egg Shuttle.

Which is literally every stage back-to-back with limited lives.

Also as I'm getting close to finishing, I decided to finally beat the game.

Somehow their already long-ass credits from the 0riginal game got longer, and after the four songs finish playing, they go on for another 10 minutes with no music.

I love the game but Jesus Christ this re-master is bad.

Is it okay to watch No Time To Die if I've never seen any of the Craig movies? Or is it like trying to watch Endgame without having seen any other Marvel movies?

So I'm a little late to the party, but talking about the accessibility of a game is absolutely one of the most important things a reviewer can talk about, so calling it "embarrassing" for a reviewer to comment about how incredibly difficult a game is makes no sense to me.

I certainly feels it's more relevant to the discussion of a Metroid game than, say, the story.
