This. Honestly I wouldnt be surprised if the US is still THE country people in developing nations want to move to, despite Internet commenters having decided that Europe etc is superior. The US has a much longer reputation as a place where immigrants can come and be successful.

The most annoying thing by far about Mieruko-chan is Miko and Yulia never having an actual conversation about the ghosts, at least IIRC. Its all gestures, pantomimes, and guesses.

I wouldnt say 99% are pillars of Justice, but cops as a whole are not nearly as murderous, bloodthirsty, and racist as a large section of CE (and Twitter etc) seems to believe.

For the topic at hand, I would not care either way if my hypothetical kid was a cop.

It could be either/or. I wouldn't say it's OK in every circumstance. There's a lot of sex trafficking etc going on. I guess assuming you did your research and made absolute sure you're not supporting that, it could be a C.

I watched it, but like a lot of those anime that aired on Adult Swim and Toonami when I was in middle and high school, I don't remember much of it at all.

I kind of remember a blue haired dude having a Stand-like power, and the other guy having an arm power. I also remember a character named Cougar something who seemed popular on message boards I used to browse back then.

I would support a US intervention here (hopefully with our allies). We can't let dictators start taking over other countries because they want to.

This is the the kind of thing our military should be used for (helping allies and checking people like Putin) rather than invading other countries and occupying them for 20 years.

Healthcare in the US is generally of very high quality.

It's just private rather than nationalized. But the actual care you get is good.

Finished up "Gangsta" a few minutes ago (English dubbed)

Really sucked IMO, I wouldn't recommend it. I happened upon the opening a few years back and I would listen to it here and there since it was a really catchy song, so I figured I'd watch the show.

Probably one of the duller anime I've ever watched. It didn't really have much of a plot for the entire 12 episode run, there was only a very vague outline of anything resembling a story arc at all. For like the last couple of episodes something seemed to be kind of taking shape, but then it just ends. They introduce new factions right at the end who start doing stuff but don't really give any sort of indication as to their motivations.

I know "read the manga" anime are often like this but at least they often cover a complete arc or something and end up being at least a little satisfying.

Despite having quite a few bloody gun/sword fights the action scenes lacked any sort of bite or tension at all. Two characters could be having a life or death sword fight and I could feel my attention drifting.

The only good thing was that the relationship between the two main characters was sort of interesting, especially in the flashbacks they would show.

I know there are plenty of anime that have little/no plot, but those at least make up for it with cute and endearing characters, humor, etc. Gangsta has none of that. It's presented as a serious plot based show, but barely has any sort of coherent plot.

TL;DR I thought it was bad.

Remind me never to buy another GTA game new again.

I beat Yakuza 5 and Ryu Ga Gotoku Ishin this year while doing a large chunk of the side content. So Id guess its one of those two as both ended up being pretty long.

I feel like grift or grifter are among the terms that people all started using at the same time without really understanding what they actually mean. Kind of like gaslighting.

I pretty much never sit down and watch TV but I know all the Liberty Mutual commercials because they always seem to be on multiple times when someone else is watching it and I happen to be in the room.

I went to Universal Japan. It felt like I went into a portal back to the US because everything is the same as the American one, but of course everyone is Japanese. It was all the same rides and food.

I'd say mostly no. Several of my friends are in this boat yet get into relationships.

No way Hiyako and Angie are bottom tier. Gundam is overrated and Sonia was boring, I'd move them down.

Honestly I don't remember hating many of the characters. There were some that were mostly boring but not really all that dislikeable.

Mioda did remind me of some quirky annoying tumblr girl so I would put her in the bottom.
