Yeah skyward pride is definitely better for Eula than the ice sword.

It's actually pretty good on her, maybe third best in the game. The ER lets her use her burst more often, which is a definite plus, and the vacuum blades created by its passive are physical damage, which you should have built up on her.

Well that's not true, Whiteblind does scale correctly with it. But that's the crazy thing, it's only a 4* craftable and yet it boosts her DPS so much. If we get a 5* that boosts the stats that she wants, combined with a 4 piece artifact set that does the same thing, what she's going to be capable of is bonkers.

And Itto will be just freaking broken, because he'll have some of the best DPS potential in the game while ALSO being very tanky.

I'd been equipping all attack shikifuda because I really only used them to get through faster (and even then not often). But I'll definitely use the water one next time, and maybe also that geo one that helps you defend.

Also I'd been skipping the charms that raise defense or resistance every time, but they seem a lot more useful in this challenge.

Okay, this fourth labyrinth definitely feels harder than the other three. The monsters are really tanky, and there's a fairly nasty mechanic where enemies will be surrounded by big electro circles and you constantly take damage if you're within them. What happened several times to me is, one of my characters would drop below 50% HP and I'd try to switch out or use a healing skill but I'd be stunlocked and then the electro field combined with multiple enemy attacks would just kill me.

I'm sure this won't be hard for anyone who can get 3 stars on 12-3 of the Abyss, but I'm going to have to be careful to get through.

I'll try again when I have time later. I'm really wondering what that final dungeon is like....

Interesting. I already built a team with Kazuha/Raiden/Kokomi and looks like Childe could definitely slot in there, or maybe replace Kokomi and bring another electro... I'll have to look into this more, but looks like he could be a fun next project. Unless I pull Hu Tao, then he can wait a bit longer!

Another thing about Childe @SBAllen is that everything scales off each other. He's very mediocre at mid level but once you get his exp levels, weapon, and talents up to high levels his DPS goes through the roof.

There are a lot of dumb takes in this topic, but the hilarious thing about this one is that it applies equally to both turn-based and action RPGs. IIRC though the next weapon banner is supposed to be really good. It has Staff of Homa (the best DPS polearm for anyone except Xiao, and even on him it's almost as good) and I think the other weapon was also one of the best in its type.

lol Yomiya combined with Raiden does make them a joke... but any ranged attackers will do, especially if you can get reactions.

@Life_Sympathy Yanfei + Fischl is also really good versus Specters. Have Fischl call Oz, then have Yanfei attack.

I also tried using a Fischl & Barbara combo, and it worked surprisingly well.

Very much agree. I still do artifact runs but now I just make it 5 condensed resin every other day or so, as part of my normal routine. That way it's easier not to feel emotionally invested in what I'm getting, so I don't get annoyed or frustrated if I don't get anything good.

I'm done binging fragile resin on artifact domains. If I'm going to burn through a limited resource, I want to know what I'm getting before I do it.

Whoops... lol. As I read this I realize that I knew this, and chose not to give her Bolide because of it, and then when I decided to max out her shields I totally forgot. Well, I'm going to have to switch soon!

Is your Diona level 90 tho because I've got 3HP% artifacts and a level 70 recurve bow and she's only got 31k HP for me.

Well I will fess up and admit that technically she only has slightly less than 36k HP. But see for yourself what level she is.

At C6 her burst gives people 200 elemental mastery which is snapshot into other character elemental bursts. The burst itself sucks as both a healing skill and a damage skill. People like her because she's got the strongest shield in the game after Zhongli, cleanses most debuffs, and has some good buffs that are also useful in co-op.

Yeah I put everything into building Diona's shields and she's great. She's got 36k HP and a Bolide set so her shields give a lot of protection. The best thing is, boosting HP also makes her a better healer. Yeah, it doesn't heal your whole party like the best healers, but it gets whoever is active to max HP fast.

I like to use her with Raiden, and then swap in Yoimiya or Eula depending on who I'm up against. She protects them when they're vulnerable, triggers good reactions for both, and with Raiden speeding up her energy generation she gets to use her burst a lot, which makes her actually decent as a healer.

great shields + ok healing = extremely useful support

50 pulls on the banner... I got FOUR Ningguang pulls... She just went from C1 to C5.

Also lost the 50/50 and got Jean... She's C4 now. I have only drawn standard 5* characters 6 times so far, and five have been Jean lol.

I take this as the RNG telling me something. I don't want to anger RNGeesus so I'm going to build up Ningguang and triple crown Best Knight Jean.

I mean, I was wanting to do both these things anyway. I'll just do them faster.

Well you're guaranteed 3 five star pulls but statistically, the chances of you only pulling 3 is extremely low. Even 4 is unlikely. You'll probably get 5. 6 or more if you're lucky.

That means 3 or 4 Tartaglias is your most likely outcome. 2 if the RNG really hates you. 6 is definitely possible, but you probably won't get that many.

Not always. But in co-op, you typically can't control who you're with. So being able to make up for a team being kind of weak, or help teammates recover if they make a mistake, is very valuable. On top of that, a well built Jean has a good chance of being able to finish most domains even if everyone else goes down, due to her moderately good DPS.

Now if you're always playing with people you know and picking teams deliberately Jean may not be very useful, but that's completely different and not even very comparable to the way most people play co-op.

On paper and in practice a C4 Zhongli (really just a C2) is better

I said "one of the best," not "the best in every situation." Zhongli at C2 or higher is probably the best co-op character in the game. Though Jean is still better in some situations, like if you have Xiao or Kazuha on your team.

You're saying Jean is useless. Not being as good as the best character (in most situations) doesn't make a character useless.

I mean, most guides do list Kaeya as the best of the guaranteed characters by far. He also has a Keqing Mains page going into detail about how to use him. I have also seen plenty of people singing his praises here and on reddit.

I think it's pretty common knowledge that he's a very good and useful character.

Well, it's not going to boost his DPS much. All it will do is let you use him at good but suboptimal DPS for more of the time. Basically it's a QoL upgrade that lets you give him more field time in overworld exploration and stuff.

But I'm sure you know that already.

Personally I don't think it's worth the money at all. But it's not my money. You can use your money however you want. As long as you know what you're buying and have thought about it and decided that it's really worth it, then hey, knock yourself out.

Ok, I've tested it EXTENSIVELY and there is no question that Shimenawa's is stronger than Heart of Depth for Childe. It does substantially more damage. The downside is that the proc only lasts 10 seconds instead of 15 seconds, which isn't the end of the world as long as you swap out when the 10s are up (which you should anyway as Childe)

Interesting, my Shimenawa's has way better stats than my Heart of Depth, I'll have to try that.

So now that I've finally built up Raiden, holy SHIT her and Yoimiya are a good combo. Use Yoimiya's ult, use Raiden's ult and slash at everyone with massive overload damage, switch back to Yoimiya and pick off any stragglers with pyro bow shots (boosted by Raiden's elemental attack of course).

I had been using the Shimenawa set on Yoimiya but with this combo Crimson Witch is much better.

My understanding is that the point of this law is to keep gay and trans people out of pop culture. The chances that it would be applied to a character like Venti are slim. I'm not saying it's impossible, because who knows where the CCP may decide to crack down? But I would be surprised if it actually happened.

I think they're more likely to get targeted for anti gacha reasons actually.
