You've hit the nail on the head with regards to months of surgery, feeding through a tube, being surrounded by strange people in a strange place. I couldn't imagine what you're going through, but I wouldn't want that on my cat.

Best to give him a few final days/weeks of comfort, snuggles and all his favourite foods, and let him go peacefully with you holding him.

My WoW classic guild just broke up. I'm so sad. Started playing in April 2020 just as the state borders in Australia closed. I've seen my friends and family once in that time when they briefly opened just before Delta hit, so the guild and raiding has been my "hanging with the boys" time for the last 20 months.

Genuinely saddened right now.

I spend most of my week working from home and playing WoW during working hours, and I never work (or am available) more than 40 hours a week. I'm on 96k AUD. I'd rather that than having to go into the office and work 60-80 hours a week for an extra 30-40k.

Luckily religion in Australia is pretty much dead unless you're over 50. I'm pretty sure "no religion" is the highest response on the census (we just did the most recent one a few months ago so keen to see what the stats are next year when they're released)
