I'd say The Wire has some good endings for some characters, some horrible endings for some characters, and bittersweet ones as well. They all feel correct even if we don't like seeing those characters end up that way. A show like that having one big happy ending would make no sense. The rare times I go to mine are just to the Barnes and Noble that you can get to without going in the mall proper. Only once in a long time did I ever walk around and go to other stores. 95% of the stores I'd go to have been long gone like FYE and even Radio Shack.
