When they try to get a character to kill something defenseless like a deer or an unarmed person but they wont so they act like they cant kill but later when they need to defend someone they absolutely destroy/kill someone no problem.

the challenge has been fine in older games, i never felt like i straight up didn't have to try until 6. you'd think with all the new gadgets, supremos, resolver weapons and so on, the enemies would have some sort of equipment or behavior that encourages you to use them, but nah, all you need is armor piercing rounds and either an emp or explosive.

the only good resolver weapon, the fireworks one, is also a problem because it completely invalidates every other weapon. why would you ever use anything else when it's full auto, homing, and even tanks can't survive a single burst? it's so over the top that it completely trivializes every encounter in the game

When did you try in 3, 4, 5, ND or BD?

Theyre easy af with less options.

Yes. Theres literally a difficulty setting but youre still op.

Theres a ton of challenging games so im sure you can just go play one of those.

Though i doubt you played FC games if youre looking for a challenge...

oh, i also fucking hate how you can't get any resolver weapon ammo off enemies you kill. the big ammo trays that fill everything are fairly rare, and you can't even enjoy things like the CD gun because it's weaker than a pistol with AP rounds, and has no ammo. meanwhile said pistol ammo is among the most plentiful in the game. they just didn't think about anything, nothing's balanced, supremos are pointless, it exists to facilitate the player in checking off a bunch of timesink icons on the map, and 2 is still my favorite for what it is

also the co-op special ops missions fucking suck

New Dawn had an animal companion that could automatically resurrect itself if it died, you could literally just command him to go into an outpost and he would take the whole thing without any further action on your part, and it would count as a stealth takeover lol
