Don't worry. If you're looking for the monkey's paw twist, it's that the house has been showing signs that they're not even going to take a serious look at this because they want the Senate to pass the three trillion bill instead, so what's likely to happen is the two Chambers will bicker over it until we hit the debt ceiling later this year and the government shuts down over it.

There isn't one. The whole purpose of this bipartisan bill is they stripped the three trillion package down to just infrastructure funding and removed anything that was even remotely controversial so that Congress could actually get credit for passing a law.

Technically this bill only establishes a pilot program to allow some states to pay people to opt in to the program to figure out whether it will work or not. They still haven't even figured out how exactly they're going to measure how far somebody has gone, so it's really not likely that the end result of this bill will actually be a per mile tax. Especially since it completely goes against their current push to advance new green initiatives, since eliminating the gas tax in exchange for a distance tax would be heavily biased towards gas guzzlers over fuel economic cars.

Genesis 3-button & Saturn Controllers (Model 1 NA Launch & Model 2 JP Launch) were some of the best D-Pads IMO.

Nothing in controller design history has even come close to those D-Pads.

The Series X dpad and the Elite controller dpad are serious contenders.

Imo, 9S was the best character in the game, followed closely by 2B. Both were incredibly well written.

I only wish we got to know more about A2. We knew nothing, basically.

A2 has a lot of background but it's in supplemental material like drama CDs and stage plays.

That's not quite confirmed. If you go back in he's gone, and the log in your encyclopedia thing just says "he left" and he never comes back to the village. You could interpret that as he killed himself, but Yoko Taro isn't exactly shy about just telling you if that's the case. The hardest part of that choice is Pascal will actually call out to you and ask how you could be so cruel in walking away, but I still think it's a better choice over erasing his memory so he ends up selling the corpses of his own children back in the village and just murdering him.

Honestly I ended up going with the third option specifically because I thought the two options given were both letting him down.

Effectively, when you walk away the dialogue involves you telling Pascal that part of living is learning to deal with your decisions, and handing that kind of choice off to somebody else is simply running away from your problems.

The response comes off a little bit cold and uncaring, but I felt like it was the most thematically appropriate for the game because you're telling Pascal that if he really wanted to be more like a human he has to be willing to accept this part of humanity.

The Pascal decision actually has a hidden third option. Rather than take one of the two choices, you can literally just leave and it triggers entirely different dialogue and results.

It'd be a lot easier for people to support living wages if anyone actually bothered to rigorously define living wage, but that would require actually determining what you get to have versus not have as a minimum standard and the people most fervently in support of these wages are the least likely to be willing to put in that hard, thankless work and expose themselves to that kind of criticism.

It's a lot easier to argue over some nebulous concept than whether a living wage includes a smartphone and cable TV, how many kids get supported by a living wage, whether public transport is the default assumption versus car ownership, what level of insurance is minimum for a living wage, whether eating out counts towards a living wage or whether it's basic foodstuffs, etc. While a living wage is going to be regionally specific in terms of actual totals, the "package" of items that add up to that total won't necessarily be outside of maybe transport.
