Yeah they're one time purchases. The wife bought it for both mobile and steam. The trade-off is that the mobile version is much cheaper.

Whenever I hear people say this its usually because they have zero imagination in regards to what toppings to put on their burger. Like they literally get a cheeseburger well done that consists of cheese and burger and no other toppings and then say "wow this is pretty bland".

Friends don't generally text each other everyday without fail. If you're a kid you probably already see this friend everyday at school so there's not really a reason to text everyday and if you're an adult you have a job and other things that keep you too busy to text everyday.

It comes across as overbearing and clingy if you feel the need to message your friends everyday. Also deprivation increases desire, they'll be more excited you're messaging them if you don't do it all the freaking time.

I've stopped watching them all together now.

90% of the time it's trash. I adapted to the Disney formula years ago and got tired of the same old shit.

You want to know the secret to why people aren't tired of it yet? Well for one they do put a good movie out every once in a while. Second thing is they market it for kids. That's why everything you watch in a superhero movie for the most part is pretty sterile. The younger you are the more likely you are to enjoy things you have never experienced because you have no experiences to compare it to.

If you think about it the life cycle of a child is pretty short where as the life cycle of an adult is much longer by comparison. The first avengers movie came out 10 years ago which is crazy to think. Even for somebody who's 20 years old, for more than half their life marvel movies have been coming out and it's been their childhood.

But basically as the years drag on and more movies are made, new marvel fans are made from kids that graduate from "goo goo gaga", parents want to do something fun with them in the family and so they take them to see marvel movies.

TLDR; children fuel the industry. You can't get new fans out of adults but within a few years a kid could become a new marvel fan when they're "old enough", which is a pretty low bar to set because nobody pays attention to the PG-13 rating . This is why companies tend to market things to a wide audience because in the end it will make them more money.

Now this is my type of topic.

I'm a freak for good traditional tower defense (birdseye view, emphasis on towers instead of a hero character, for the most part has a predetermined path which has a beginning and end).

In my search for the best power defense games here is what I've found to be the best:

• Kingdom Rush series (Frontier and original are the best but overall the series is one of the best Tower defense games that exist)
• Bloons TD5 (variety is good but like you said you can beat most levels with the same strats)
• Dungeon Warfare 1/2 (I'm really surprised no one ever seems to know this one because it's tied with Kingdom Rush for my favorite TD of all time; this one focuses on traps and physics)
• Fieldrunners 2 (it strays from the traditional formula sometimes but it's still a solid TD game)
• Cursed Treasure 2 (had the potential to be one of my favorite Tower defense games of all time but it f**** itself over in the final area because it was originally built on microtransactions and nickel and diming mobile users for mana items. Otherwise amazing TD though).

They always think that everyone who has an issue with women's beauty in games wants a 11/10 girl with jiggle physics and tit armor.

I mean I'm not going to lie that sounds awesome but I'm looking for a more reasonable standard here. Nowadays, it's pretty common for women in video games to not just be ugly but also either look like a man or super androgynous. Forget having any feminine features like wide hips, slender legs or dainty features.

Let's take the example of Aloy you provided. Yes there will always be somebody who complains no matter what but the more reasonable standard says, "why did she gain weight in the second game?". That is, assuming she keeps the same model we've seen displayed. From what we've seen she has more fat in her face. When gaining weight in the face, that typically comes after gaining weight in the thighs and torso area.
Why has Aloy gained weight at all? She's supposed to be a super fit Huntress who runs around in the woods hunting robot dinosaurs, she can't sit at home and watch Netflix and gorge herself on potato chips.

It's pretty obvious that most people that complain about fat people are not doing so out of a selfless desire to see their health improve. They just want to complain and belittle. Half the time, they are fat themselves.

I already admitted my self to being overweight, not obese but I still am trying my best to improve. I think your view is very pessimistic and assumes the worst of people.

Why do I care that people are fat? Because duh, I know what its like to be fat and it makes me unhappy, lose self-confidence and makes me generally miserable. Excuse my language, but why the fuck would I want that for anyone else? I try to get in shape and cheer others on for doing their best, because I know it helps.

No one should accept being overweight because it perpetuates bad exercising/eating habits and leads to being obese and being at risk for physical health issues.

No, fat acceptance and body positivity is unhealthy and is about accepting that you are overweight and that you arent going to do anything about it. People try to disguise it as "loving yourself" but its just a cop out for the mentally weak.

I am overweight, I will strive my best to get fit and try to diet, because no one will find me an attractive bachelor if I dont try to attain an attractive body.

No I've had sex with over a dozen women and this is an exaggeration of the problem. Giving most women in video games today and 8 out of 10 is generous when over half the women look like men or they're super androgynous.

But yeah again there's nothing wrong with wanting an attractive woman in your video game. Somehow it's always the Japanese developers these days that managed to make attractive women in video games.

TC I dont think the pro-fat movement is really a mainstream approach. Its not really controversial to point out that being overweight is generally bad for ones heath.

Yes not mainstream among normal people but it's pretty mainstream among fat people.

I was going out with at least four or five obese women and they all had the same issue. Instead of trying to self improve theirselves they were trying to learn to accept themselves as they were. One of them actually had a legitimate excuse for being overweight, because she had a ankle that was fractured or something. I'm not a skinny mini myself but at least I'm willing to try losing weight.

It does seem like AAA developers have been trying to make women ugly for a while now or more Man-like.

I remember booting up an old game Enslaved Odyssey to the West, and thinking wow the main girl is stunning in every way, body and face.

But it was like a uncharted game so I wasn't interested

Too bad I keep hearing bad things about Cyber Shadow, it was the first game published by Shovel Knight Devs which was not made by them.
