Has anyone progressed a fair amount in either of these websites? I've heard The Odin Project is one of the best ways to self-teach HTML/CSS/JavaScript. I've been wanting to get into it. Right now I'm going through a course on udemy about CSS, but only a few hours in. I'm also up to the Applied Visual Design section in part one freeCodeCamp. It's a lot of fun. It's all basic stuff that I already know, so I'm just waiting to get into more advanced features & hopefully will get more familiar with JavaScript very soon.

My first language is Python, which I started learning last year. But I'm taking a break to learn more about web development.

PHARR, Texas (TND) Two brothers in Texas are reportedly now in jail after they beat their stepfather to death.

According to reports in the area, the teenage brothers killed the stepfather for allegedly sexually abusing their 9-year-old sister.

Alejandro and Christian Trevino, 18, are both accused of severely beating Gabriel Quintanilla, 42, and leaving him to die in a southern Texas field, according to KGBT News.

Quintanilla was reportedly found by a farmer and had apparent severe blunt force trauma to his head.

A friend of the Trevino brothers, Juan Eduardo Melendez, 18, was also reportedly involved in the fatal beating and has has also been charged.

Police say a minor, later identified as a 9-year-old girl, made an outcry about being inappropriately touched by Quintanilla in an RV park, according to KRGV News.

When brothers (Alejandro) and Christian Trevino found out, they became enraged and confronted Gabriel Quintanilla at the residence. A physical fight ensued between the three and the victim Quintanilla left the location on foot, KRGV News reports Pharr Police Department saying in a news release.

The trio reportedly chased Quintanilla down and again assaulted him, leaving only to fetch a truck and come back, again beating Quintanilla and placing him in the back of the retrieved truck. KRGV News says Quintanilla was beaten with brass knuckles and put into the bed of the truck, then later dumped in the field.

Quintanilla is the stepfather of both Christian and Alejandro, KGBT News says, and also had a warrant for "continuous sexual abuse of a child", police reportedly told MyRGV News.
