My favorite will always be restaurant/bar mask mandates. You're walking outside with no mask because you're outside. You put your mask on and walk up to the host/ess. You are seated. After 30 seconds, mask comes off for an hour while you eat and drink around dozens of other maskless patrons.

Pick a lane. Either enforce it like they do on airplanes (ONLY taking the mask down between drinks/bites), or don't bother with the song and dance.

I mean I know the answer, money rules all, so NFL paid whomever in California needed to be paid to not have to enforce it, but it never hurts to ask.

I watched 1 and 2 (conan and marshawn) so far. It's quirky and goofy but I kinda wish they would let the scenes linger for a bit longer. I feel like all the cuts are really noticeable and the whole thing feels stapled together rather than more like a natural improv scene. Feels like they're basically letting the guest say CUT and then give them time to devise a line or something.

People are getting too hung up looking for GOTCHA moments that they completely misread (intentionally, most likely) things with which they disagree.

The poster we're discussing never claimed that vaccines don't reduce spread/illness. He even acknowledged the good that vaccines are doing with regards to reduction and he and his family are all vaxxed.

And he's completely right with his assessment about deviating from the script and being alienated as a result. Despite being vaxxed and acknowledging the effectiveness, he has been ostracized because he did not stick to the script about how vaccines stop the spread and illness.

You know what's funny, I actually am a leftist myself. I support many leftist policies and would self-identify as a socialist.

The problem is that woke-ism has created a script we must all abide by and if you diverge even just a little bit, you're ousted.

So, for example, if you believe that mandating a vaccine (which can go very strongly against a person's willingness) is morally wrong because it isn't truly effective, you get called an anti-science anti-vaxx loon and lumped in with the rest of the conservatives.

Even though, ironically, we now have the data to show that while vaccines are helpful and do a lot to alleviate the problems with covid, they aren't perfect and don't actually stop you from getting sick and potentially spreading it to others.

It's now religious doctrine.

So, I still tell people, get vaxxed, it's safe and it'll keep covid from likely killing you. But to have a government-wide mandate for all peoples? That's a bit of a strain to me.

The problem is, you can't possess this viewpoint and still be left anymore. So now I'm in Cancun riding on a jet ski with Ted Cruz, high-fiving and living life.

Good. People need to be aware that there is great value in a trade school. The whole bit from Community about plumbing or A/C repair is spot on. Anything in that realm will always be a necessity and will always offer lucrative work at a fraction of the cost for a degree/license/whatever you get from one of those.

I read this wrong and was about to start throwing hands at Delta being the #1 worst. They fucking rock, it's basically all I fly. Honestly debating getting their credit card. Not sure why I haven't already.

Surprised at American being low. I flew them over thanksgiving. Biggest complaint was no in-headseat monitors. They had in-flight entertainment with a decent selection, but you had to use your own device to connect to their in-flight intranet. They had a little foldout in the headrest in front of you to prop your phone up, but still. My phone is tiny and not everyone wants to pack a tablet. Also the fact that they actually advertise their credit card towards the end of the flight and literally have a flight attendant walk up and down the aisle with a brochure in case anyone wants it. Like god damn, talk about taking advantage of a captive audience.

Two relatively minor complaints but all in all not enough to bring it down to 6th IMO.

But Delta will always be king so long as I live in MSP territory.

I don't want to go into it too much but me, my partner, and 2 cops got assaulted while on duty, with me and a cop going to the hospital. One cop got the worst of it, but he's fine now. I probably got the 2nd worst, and the other 2 were mostly fine >_> He's looking at a bunch of felonies for assaulting each of us
