I noticed that one too, and managed to get it earlier this week before buying 100 eShop dollars. Pretty much none of the Square-Enix games are available on Amazon.

Yeah, I used the 3DS to get money for Switch games as well. Can't do that anymore though. ;_;

Here's my unorganized wishlist. I know. I've been using it for awhile. It doesn't include all games though, like the Final Fantasy games on 3DS/Wii U, or the DSi games. And I can't buy themes, or do Badge Arcade with that either. So it's nice, and I obviously use it instead if I can, but there are limitations. Also, it doesn't include the 3DS StreetPass games that I still haven't gotten around to getting...

I planned on getting $200 worth on my account before it ended today. I added $100 last night, and planned on adding another $100 today, but it seems it already ended. I'm kinda pissed that I only have $100 on there right now. Now if I want to get more money on my eShop account, I have to pay an additional charge through play-asia or some other website. Which is kinda why I wanted to add as much as I could before support ended...

At least you can still see interesting landscape and other things. Scenery, ruined buildings, lakes, etc. If you want big and empty, look at Phantom Pain. At least running on foot around BoTW feels interesting, whereas in Phantom Pain, it's a chore.

Only if you change it to wait.

Even if you set it to "Wait" enemies still attack when a character's menu pops up. It only stops enemies from attacking when you're in the "Item" or "Magic" menus.

This. Shame that they perfected 3D ATB with FFX-2 and never used it again, AND finally perfected it on a game with such a shitty story.

But in general, ATB gives me the feeling of having to think ahead with my actions and anticipate the enemy's action during a time limit, which can be kinda fun.

There's no way you would be invited to such a cool party that has Barney The Dinosaur.

I was thinking how after Ocarina of Time, I ended up seeing stuff like Kingdom Hearts having lock-on and melee combat, and now the whole Dark Souls series, Nioh, etc. Did Nintendo end up starting something big with that simple feature? Or was it already started by some other game before it?

I am in my mid thirties and grew up with these consoles. So I have no idea when people started using it. Might be a regional thing, but I feel like it's something much newer spawned on the internet.

It definitely is. Same situation as you. Mid-30s, never heard anyone verbally refer to them as "ness" or "sness" until the past decade or so.

Also, on the subject of weirdly saying acronyms phonetically, I heard someone at one of the GDQ streams refer to "SOTN" as "Soten".

Growing up I only ever heard it referred to as Super Nintendo. Or more colloquially, Nintendo. Like, y'all weren't really saying "I wanna play Sega Genesis!" were you? In my household it was just Sega.

We didn't call the Super Nintendo "Nintendo"... That's what you called the OG NES. And we definitely didn't call the Genesis a "Sega", just "Genesis".

I've been doing this on Nioh to save my Elixirs every time I die to the first boss, but I'm wondering if this might cause problems for the hardware down the line.

The sound might as well be off sometimes when I've got headphones on listening to a stream or something.

Earlier today I noticed it wasn't up, which made me look into what was going on. Apparently they were banned for some reason, but didn't say why.

Now, at the same time I was looking up Rifftrax's ban, I noticed the name DisguisedToast. I only recognized the name, didn't know anything else about the streamer. Apparently they were banned for having Death Note on in the background.

Now I can probably guess why Rifftrax was banned. Goddamnit, they had to ruin it for everyone by waking the tyrannical dragon, and now it's going around putting an end to all fun. I'm genuinely surprised the Bob Ross channel wasn't banned yet.

First off, I'm surprised that they let you download the PS2 games. Didn't expect Sony to let you do that. I'm guessing this is the only way to get PS2 games on your PS4?

Secondly, you can't download PS3 games? PS2 games are okay, but they won't let you download PS3 games?

I'm also really surprised they don't let you take screenshots or video of the PSNow games. Maybe it'd be allowed with the PS4 or PS2 games, but the fact that screenshots and videos are blocked while streaming games from PSNow kinda baffles me.

Lightning dodge, super jumps in Mario RPG, jump rope mini games, etc.

I think Super Mario RPG and FFIX's jump rope mini-games are top tier when it comes to nonsensical difficulty.

Almost as bad as the Blank VS Zidane performance fight. That one's a lot shorter, but you pretty much need tool-assisted reflexes to get a Moonstone.
