I'm glad they blended the story of the first two games into one story, it felt natural and for the most part stayed true to both games. i just saw as a mish mash of cool moments and story beats from the first 3 games actually, as well as a code veronica cameo with the ashford twins for some weird reason like many other things handpicked from the game, blended together without any real character development or rhyme and reason except that it progresses in a linear fashion as pointed out by the weird clock. only real credit i can give it are some of the sets are great and some of the zombie makeup/CGI effects. also, making leon an incredibly bumbling idiot hits me pretty hard. --- http://abload.de/img/pcgamingxtuvt.jpg http://i.imgur.com/9Yv0R2Z.jpg |

It was only ever Abby that mattered. yeah, it makes total sense that the person she's most likely to kill, the main reason why there's a trail of blood in the first place, is the one to get out scot free... that's not to mention they were a group of people yet it's abby that magically "matters". I'm sure the TV show will play out the same. All the story provides is a conflict driven by hate that you see from opposing perspectives. I feel like people create these narratives in their head due to some of the stuff they experience in the game, and then criticize ND as "lecturing" them because of that. it's not really an imaginative narrative since in "part 1" you're(as ellie) brutally killing dogs and in "part 2" you're(as abby) shown to be all lovey dovey with them. that was definitely intentionally used as a "you specifically as the player should feel bad since you just murdered a bunch of dogs when they're sweet animals". many of these pretentious design decisions exist throughout the game. cjsdowg posted...
