I think it depends how you use it, and in recent years it has become used far more in a racist way.

Even now calling someone who fetishes Japanese culture/women without knowing a thing about it a weeb can be a bit iffy though I feel.

Yeah, doing it in the open is 100% fine and what you'll often do when those abilities need it. With your companion set to healer, very little to worry about in most PvE content save the odd elite or boss battles, and then you just get out of cover and run a bit to reset it as needed (or just use abilities that don't need it, pretty sure sniper agent has some from what I remember when I used to play just it)

Well, the more you know

Same. I would have expected them to be strongly in support of trans rights, but then opinion pieces can always be fucking weird. Yet they are still publishing them and resisting push back against it, or giving support to anything against said hate.

TOR's main selling point is the story, which the base game is pretty excellent at, taste depending and if you enjoy what each class story brings. The DLC is a fairly big drop, but it has evidently picked up again recently at least.

@Funkydog You found it easier than FFXIV? My experience with FFXIV was that it handholds you on everything by unlocking your abilities for you and then it is very clear which abilities you should chain together and how to manage your buff abilities.

I found ff14 either super basic, like you said (like with black mage) or utterly baffling and incomprehensible, like with many other jobs I tried as so much timing required to avoid messing up. TOR I found pretty simple as you have your buffs, you single targets, your aoes etc, so was easy to figure out how it all worked together to get something that worked fine for PvE.

Has been a bit since I played TOR so maybe I just forgot the learning pains though. Probably some abilities you don't have yet that will fill your rotation out, as you've got like another 50+ worth levels of them or something, so being right at the start you can probably just do whatever until you get more to start making a basic rotation.

Like any MMO, are a billion guides that will give you a good rotation to use. I did find TOR much easier though, than the likes of FF14 on that aspect at least as don't recall anything too complicated.

Most the time they're just regular busses that will do a school run in the morning/evening but will be in regular service the rest of the day. The concept of dedicated/specialised school buses isn't really a thing here in my experience.

Yeah, always just seen your standard coach (1 level) or double decker used myself.

To be fair, this isn't owt new - absolute troglodytes getting annoyed that black people show up in adverts is almost a Christmas tradition at this point. Mind boggling.

Is it really a British Christmas without some racist breaking down about a non white person "ruining" their WHITE Christmas.

I mean it seems a bit odd that a user who over the past year or two has expressed increasingly anti-trans sentiments enters a topic about something this horrific and chooses to take issue with...the characterization of The Guardian

I mean, the Guardian is a notoriously pretty left leaning newspaper that even many "lefties" in the UK think leans too much to the left. I've not actually heard about them joining team terf with the BBC either, but I'd hardly be surprised given how our media in the UK seems to be going.
