Great news. Did you just load the game or something?

Incase that happens to me.

I'm not sure what happened. I do know about an hour ago I was doing some challenges. Found a crossbow challenge, completed it and did a few other challenges and side quests.

Decided to continue the main story to get the grappling hook, decided to arrange my weapons and saw it sitting there.

Well that's interesting. The crossbow just popped into my inventory.

One thing I did notice is that the number of infected/zombies that appear has been increasing.

I think the first DL had something similar. When you're just starting out the number of enemies is small, kinda like a means to acclimate you to the game, mechanics, etc. Once you start getting stronger and/or progress further the numbers increase.

Still haven't reached the infamous bridge/fields numbers, but I'm definitely noticing more then I did starting out.

I use them to clobber Volatiles in Level 4 chases. Pretty efficient.

Maybe they just don't want to depress us.

I just want a patch that gives me my crossbow since it glitched on me and I never received it.

I already have upgraded Stamina over Power 2 to 1. I'll take my chances with a fight over a fall lol

My Stamina is at level 10 with Health at 5-6. Wanted to unlock the combat skill that allows you to push enemies off buildings and ride them down to the ground.

I prefer Crimson Echoes/Flames of Eternity.

I like to think that Crono and Marle are still alive, just trapped in a timeline where all the other timelines are unstable and time gates fly all over the place as they try to make all those timelines right again.

I'm having fun just flying around with the paraglider trying to see how high up I can get and see what areas I can get into.

Definitely upgrade it ASAP. At level 2 it gets a speed boost and at level 3 if you use L3 you get another speed boost. More stamina may not be a bad idea either.

I didn't necessarily want a sequel, but, killing Crono, Marle, and Luca off screen, then parading their ghost child form around for no reason and no explanation given as to why never sat right with me. Plus the whole Guile situation.

I loved the first game. So far I don't like the second one as much but I'm fairly early on. I don't like how you can't be in the dark very long.

To make it worse I had 2 safe zones glitch out on me. The generators are running and they show up on the map but the UV lights went away. It really screwed me over when I was trying to reset my timer.

It is a shame because night is the best time to play. It does get better though, once you get upgrades your timer increases, plus the game throws max upgraded immunity boosters at you. You can later craft UV Bars which can help if you find yourself too far from a safe place.

No, at least not that I'm aware of.

What are you playing on? I think the draw distance is pretty impressive. You can see like a block of zombies in each direction. I haven't had any problems like that yet on ps5.

PS4.

The only real glitchy place I've seen so far is the sunken city south of Newfound Lost Lands. Sometimes the water won't render in and I'll fall through the map. So I have to wait maybe 5 seconds for the water to render then I'm good.

Though the infected there are a combination of Virals and Exploders and at level 8.

Hmm. Seems like a lot of work, but I might have to save to the cloud and then disconnect and progress just in case. Then again, I always been a bigger fan of bows anyway.

On the bright side Bows + Flame Arrows/Exploding Arrows is just as good. Explosive Arrows in particular are great for farming.

Just don't let too many items gathering on screen or the game will crash, which just happened to me lol.

What's the crossbow glitch? Don't think I've heard of that.

Basically there's a chance that upon giving 4 locations to the PKs the rewards will show you got the crossbow but it doesn't show up in your inventory. You get the crossbow bolt blueprints though which defeats the purpose.

How OP is that?

I am intrigued.

I did encounter a pretty substantial bug, but there is a way around it. To avoid it entirely sure you activate a Metro Station after you arrive in Central Loop. If you fast travel back to the first area without activating a Station you basically have to do a big circle to get back.

You know, that reminds me. We've gotten no update on Mega Man X Corrupted in about 7 months.

Not that it matters anyway since the creator has been working on it for over a decade.
