I know, but he still knocks out random thugs with one punch. If he were to knock Kingpin out like a random thug it'd be a bad look.

Kingpin is basically superhuman. You guys have to remember he's a Spider-Man villain and he needs to not get knocked out or killed instantly by Spidey punching him one time.

Where even are all the Avengers? Bruce is around, he might be the most famous Avenger or Avenger-associate alive or not busy. He didnt really know Peter. The others probably dont have that much sway. It didnt seem like the problem was going on too long, but its hard to say.

The only one who could probably actually help him is dead.

TC's feet probably have that dorito smell but they're used to it by now.

Like I said earlier, Adams ran on giving the police more power to make NYC safe because the media here made it seem like we went back to the 80s. That's all he needed because he doesn't have policy on anything else. He's still gonna continue other things deBlasio was doing like the congestion pricing, putting tolls on every bridge in and out of the 5 boroughs, take away parking, gentrifying everywhere to make it more expensive to live here and continue to let the MTA deteriorate and become even more unusable.

It's specifically fighting games that cause me to call their dpads bad. They're just terrible for any kind of input more complex than "direction + button", especially compared to dpads from other consoles that aren't Nintendo. Trying to instant air canon strike as Cammy, or throw out a barrage of QCF style moves in MvC, or pretty much any complex special in Guilty Gear, KoF, or SamSho is just an exercise in frustration.

Louffy, an Evo champ, specifically used a PS1 pad over everything else. His words at the time were that it's the best dpad and I never heard anyone disagree with him about it at any tourney I've gone to. I've never had an issue doing a tiger knee anything or any input from GG, KoF, BB, SF, etc. on PS1, PS2 or PS3. I started having issues with them on PS4. I dunno about the Xbox One controller, but the 360 dpad was even worse for fighting games. I hated that it turned and slides everywhere.

PS5 controller does make my hand hurt after a while. I imagine it's the same with other playstation controllers but this is my first PS console

Asymmetric analog sticks are still the best

I hate asymmetrical sticks but I know I'm in a minority. It makes me have to take my thumb off the analog to move the camera if it's on the dpad. With symmetrical sticks I can just use my index finger to press the dpad and still use the analog.

To be fair, you just described every Sony controller d-pad ever produced.

PS1 is probably the best dpad ever. PS2 and PS3 dpads are also good. If you play fighting games for hours on a controller instead of a stick they don't mess up your fingers.

The last two years the media has been reporting nonstop about how much crime has spiked in the boroughs. Police are busy and also upset so they have slow response times or don't show up when called and then blame it on De Blasio. When Adams ran his whole platform was he's gonna make NYC safe by giving police a ton more power and reversing everything De Blasio did which has been deemed to make NYC unsafe and crime filled.

I know and I hate that mentality. I like Peter Parker as a character. He's my favorite comic book superhero. It's incredibly dumb to me that the character gets retired for years because the actor gets tired of being them, as Holland is now saying. He's also 25 right now and said he doesn't want to be Peter anymore once he's 30. That's effectively just one more solo movie before the character gets retired.

It kind of annoys me that he was talking about how he wanted to be Spider-Man forever. Now he's complaining that he's burnt out and if he's Spider-Man after 30 years old still he went wrong somewhere in his life right after it was confirmed he's gonna be Spider-Man for a lot longer now. This is why replacing actors shouldn't ever be an issue.

It's so weird to me. I'm on Crystal too but I've had healers tell me to do bigger pulls. I only pull 2 or 3 mob groups usually because I dunno how the healer is so I don't want to get the group killed.

I got into an argument with someone during Titan Extreme though. He got mad at me for being too close to the other person being entombed when the healers already were dead and so were both tanks. I was just trying to jump off the edge before getting entombed.

Green Goblin is insane and he's arguably Spider-Man's arch nemesis. Dude just loves to torture Peter Parker and ruin his life. That's all he needs as motivation tbh.

No longer pulling his punches, and still very bitter and hurt about Gwen. I would like to see what became of him after he went back to his own universe. He seems very lonely.

They resolved it in the school's lab when Tobey told him to keep trying to find love. I took it that Andrew's Peter realized he didn't find the MJ in his universe so he won't give up.

Also, I still kinda find it cool that the school they use is the high school my brother and sister went to. It's right on the border between Brooklyn and Queens. It's an absolutely horrendous high school though.

Did you use Duty Finder or Party Finder, Duty Finder for Extremes is considered a faux pas as most people are just trying to clear their dailies there.

I haven't had too much trouble getting PUG Extremes during peak hours on Crystal, but putting up an unsync clear will usually get you a carry quickly.

Duty finder. Whenever I check the party finder there's nothing I can queue up for since I'm only at the start of Heavensward.

All this shit talking about Crystal makes me want to pay to transfer my character to Primal since I wanna do raids and stuff eventually but I like my FC. Everyone's been helpful. I shoulda not listened to my friend when he picked the server for us lol.

Don't bother with coils, you're not going to successfully run it with a pug group, mostly because nobody is going to run it.

Some people from my FC told me they'd run through it unsynced with me today so we did.

I feel it was a nice wrap up to ARR and it helps give some development to the twins which I thought was nice.

Depends what you mean by end of ARR. Coils is very important to the plot, especially understanding what happened leading up to the modern day of the game.

Like, the stuff immediately before Heavensward starts.

If the story for it is self contained though I can wait.

I just beat ARR's story and got to Heavensward. Does the Coil of Bahamut stuff tie into what happens at the end of ARR? I can't solo it yet obviously and I'm really curious to see what happens in it.

Contrary to what they may have said, they were always gonna recast him. The MCU's whole thing is getting as many heroes in its money-making, story-telling stable as possible. There's no way they'd just abandon what's arguably the most popular Black superhero.

I was listening to NPR a few days ago and they were discussing an article saying Trump's next coup already started and nobody is doing anything. Republicans are taking away power to certify elections from non-partisan groups and people that have always certified elections and handed it to state legislature. It's mostly been in states that Biden won like Georgia and Arizona that refused to cave to Trump trying to declare election fraud and certified Biden's win in those states. Like the guy Trump called in Georgia to find the votes for him has no power in regards to certifying elections because he was voted off the committee by state legislature or something of that sort and it's been handed to state Republicans instead.

They mentioned US democracy is effectively dead since Biden and Democrats aren't doing anything to protect the sanctity of elections.
