Richie had those Manson eyes so it's hard to like him. Ralphie at least can blend in.

Yeah by the time you get near the end of season 6, the sins have piled up so high that you just want it to end already. The cold weather in the last couple episodes also looks depressing as s*** (ie. when Tony is meeting Agent Harris in the car). But hot damn the show aged really good.

I was rewatching season 6B recently and that thing is so f***ing depressing. It was like a funeral.

There's a gauntlet of like 3 episodes in a row, or maybe 3 in 4 (Employee of the Month, University, and I can't remember) in season 3 that are just soul-crushing.

He's supposedly also in a plane scene at some point. He also plays Old Man Dimeo in The Many Saints of Newark, which I thought was a cool touch.

Yup, I spotted him on a plane in season 6 when Chrissy and Little Carmine went to Hollywood.

That episode is great.

You got Meadow and her roommate in actual university. Tracee in the "school of hard knocks". Girls who are privileged to a have a safety net in place (Meadow and her roommate) versus Tracee and her upbringing.

Gladiator and Spartacus references. The girls at the Bing are basically a form of gladiator or slave, the stage is a type of coliseum. Tracee is referred to as a "thoroughbred"... which also connects to Pie-Oh-My.

I am reading the book "The Sopranos Sessions" right now. Amazing read if you're a big fan.

A lot of old Sandler is still funny to me. But I always thought Billy Madison was trash outside of Chris Farley.

Jay and Silent Bob is a bit preoccupied with gayness to a strange degree. That's basically Kevin Smith writing and his comics from around 2 decades ago have a bit of that too. But I still find the movie funny as f***. The gags are so stupid and I can still roll with it.

Mark Hamill isn't great but I feel like all 3 main people were really phoning it in during Return of the Jedi.

(Also Mark Hamill was great in The Last Jedi and that was his best showing in the role)

Not a movie but in The Sopranos, the one lone bad actor that jumps at me is the woman playing Silvio's wife. I believe it's also his real life wife.

I'd call Infinity War the ESB of the MCU but it ain't as good. ESB is a much more airtight experience. The Dagobah stuff is a tad weak. But Infinity War has the s***ty Wakanda CGI fight in broad daylight. Easy win for ESB.

Yeah with those old movies, look at how much of the drama is squarely on the characters rather than the 30 minute CGI 3rd acts. That s*** is annoying. People were praising Shang-Chi and I am sitting here dumbfounded.

The genre was still pretty weak by 2002. Spider-Man 1 or 2 are immediately top 5 comic book movies at that point. Superman 1 and 2, Batman, and X2 are in the running at this point. And Batman isn't even that good beyond the aesthetic.

(And in saying this, yes, I worship the Burton movies still).
