It you want chicken flavored fava bean, just cook them in chicken broth. It you need it in shaped paste form, just mash them, shape them into "fingers" and bake them. They will be healthier, cheaper and you can season them to your personal taste.

Except the point is to be vegan/vegetarian, so cooking them in chicken broth kind of ruins the point.

Considering the majority of those were people well into retirement, it's doubtful that's the reason.

Bro, what sort of business has a "well, Jimmy here is 10 years from retirement, better prepare for it" policy? And not a madscramble dash every time someone leaves?

It's a hard stat to track since the unemployment is based off how many people paying into the unemployment fund and how many collecting from it. Those that aren't doing either go unaccounted for. But the lack of staffing at many businesses is obvious.

Well, maybe. You also have to remember that the PPP loan pushes hiring people when the time comes along. Plus, we also don't know what the staffing situation was like before, McDonalds was hiring before, and it's hiring now.
Maybe too many people retired, maybe too many people died, maybe too many people don't want to work. It's all conjecture until there's some metric being measured.

It's never as simple as things are first laid out.

Unemployment is something that can be measured and compared on a timeline though. It's not everything, but, it's something.

That number is based on how many are collecting unemployment. Many businesses are actually understaffed due to people being unwilling to work.

It's still the same metric as it was before fam.

But its less of a Heres good things about us thing and more like a spoiled child demanding special treatment and attention because hes different.

You are correct, sometimes advertisement isn't about proclaiming your strengths, sometimes, it's about getting attention. So when you are purchasing a product, you are drawn to the product that you remember from before.
For example: byond meat is currently one of the major fake-meat products? Why? Because they have put forward and effort in marketing and having joint products with fast food companies.

Because it brings attention to the brand, the fast food brand, and customers to try out the product.

Which is their point, to bring people in.

This is how advertisement works.

From what I've heard, plenty of anime fans would disagree with you.

There seems to be a sentiment that the industry as a whole has been a soulless husk of itself for the last 15 years or so, with the occasional gem but mostly dreck. Which is like 97% slice-of-life or Isekai.

That's because everything that was good came out before I was 5, everything that was an undiscovered gem game out when I was 13-20, and everything else after that was garbage for dumb people.

HP Lovecraft and Arthur Conan Doyle are probably technically light novel authors idk

The average length of a light novel is about 50,000 words,[4] close to the minimum expected for a Western novel,[5] and they are usually published in bunkobon size (A6, 10.5 cm 14.8 cm), often with dense publishing schedules.

We've had basically infinite books before now as well, and will have infinite more. There's nothing new under the sun, I don't see any way this is special.
