Regardless of your opinion of the law regarding this, there's no evidence he was the aggressor at any point and video footage shows him running away from all three people he shot. And after finding out the guys he shot were pedophiles and wife beaters on top of playing stupid games that will net you stupid prizes (chasing someone that is armed with an intent to inflict violence)... This is false. The law says 16 and 17 yo can carry riffles while under supervision for hunting purposes, which doesn't seem to apply to this case. So the gun charge may stick.

Except we dont really know if there were. They already pushed her before she had the bat. If she tried to call police, they probably would have attacked her again. You can suggest a bunch of different stuff But the problem is those people came in looking for a fight. And would have probably gotten one no matter what she did

They didn't push her until she got in their face, which escalated to the shove, which escalated to the bat which escalated to the beat down. The two were argumentative initially but not violent. The owner was well within her right to remove them, however other avenues were there that would not have resulted in her getting assaulted. Again, the 2 asaaulters are 100 percent in the wrong. De-escalation strategies are best in self defense situations,

Suggesting that there were de escalation strategies the victim could have used is not victim blaming. The attackers belong in jail but that doesn't mean there weren't other ways of handling a situation with less harm coming to oneself.

She should have grabbed her bat and called the cops. Not approach the couple. Engaging further only creates the likelihood of an altercation. Considering she was outnumbered, it could have ended much worse.

A good portion of self defense is knowing how to de-escalate a situation. Phsycially provoking a probable loose canon who was previously just trolling verbally uncesicarily escalates the situation. Espeicially when outnumbered, and calling the cops and waiting for them to arrive is a viable option for resolving the situation with no harm.

I meant there was probably a course of action that would have resulted in her NOT getting a beat down. But like I said she was well within her rights to remove them.

Those people are idiots. If the owner tells u to leave and u don't u r trespassing. She was well within her right to remove them, however, doing so probably wasn't the best course of action
