For me it has effecting my decision to play a few games. The most notable might be Starcraft a couple years back. I knew the player base was decently populated to always have a game up, but the high skill level of the players in the older game's play base made me never want to play it myself since I know the learning curve would be too high for me to ever want to play it.

Warcraft 3 back in the day. I jumped into a couple games, got laughed at for being bad, and decided it wasn't for me. I'm not a fan of online games where you have to be a sweaty tryhard to have fun anyway.

Me and my regular crew on Friday the 13th made a guy quit has Jason. We bullied up on him so bad he couldn't get any of us. I felt bad about it so I messeged him on Xbox. He was actually an all right dude but he never wanted to play Friday again

even if they hadn't ruin heroes vs villains in battlefront 2 (ps4) with their stupid "balance" changes, the game is horrible to go back to.

i never play games with random people. i do hate how many super mario maker 2 levels aren't "real mario" levels even if I use the Standard filter, does that count

I'm not a fan of online gaming tbh. I would rather play split screen with friends if I am going to play a multi-player game.
