Tbh, that might not be so bad. Military training can seem pretty rough when youre in it. But its really just a joke afterwards. And only 2 months long. And if they wanted to do it for everybody, theyd probably have an easier and shorter course for civilians, with different physical scores

I cant say I fully agree. I think it can actually impact it. How significantly depends, though. Realistically, having a strong team could help to hold a weaker member up, because the whole team counts. But being a stronger individual can definitely improve your chances. Just not always

Take this example you gave. You actually might no die. Some people can taken massive damage, and hold on long enough to get help. Depends on what the bullets hit. Someone whos stringer might be able to hold on longer

I don't see an issue with women being part of the draft but accommodations should be made for families with children. One parent should be exempt and it should be for the family to decide which parent would stay home. For single parents, they should all be exempt men or women.

People have been surprised. But most of the time, they were surprised by things that may others knew would happen. Though, hidsight is always 20-20, so make of that what you will. But in the end, you're right that only time will tell... But based on the things currently happening (Like whatever Texas is trying to do with gay people, and the making abortion illegal again thing, and just everything we're constantly hearing about), it seems we're going in the wrong direction. And Twitter is only making things worse, tbh...

I guess you don't have to use them. There are other ways to say things. I personally don't mind having to say it. It's fine. I mean, no matter what or how I say it, I'm basically saying the same thing. Either I'm saying I'm gay, or I'm dancing around words to still say I'm gay, but in a different way. Or using different words. I personally don't see why it matters whichever way I say it. For example, if someone ask me how I feel about a girl because they wanted to set me up, I could either say, "I'm gay" or "I'm not attracted to women". In this case, they would both mean the same thing. That's why I'm not sure I see a difference in those. Except for saying I'm gay is shorter, quicker, and to the point. Like I said, I don't mind saying I'm gay as long as I'm not treated differently (in a bad way) for it... But that's just how I feel. I've never really minded labels, as long as the label fits (and isn't bad)...

No. Never really had a reason to. And to be honest, it would probably cause problems. My fire thinks people are calling on it at work sometimes while watching stuff. I feel it would be even worse with a phone. Especially if multiple people in close proximity were using it... Alexa has had that problem, too... Listening to people on youtube saying stuff... That said, I don't even know if my phone has that function... My phone is a little older...

Yeah. But one issue is I don't get the full amount right away.

They clear $200 right away and the rest takes about 3 days to clear.

He could have waited in his car, on the public road. There was no reason for him to be on their property after they refused to give up his son.

He could have acted rationally and called the police instead of getting in someone's face. The mom/stepdad breaking the law isn't justification for being a dickhead and breaking more laws.

The problem isnt where he waited. They literally werent giving him the child. Whether he waited in the car or at the house, they were keeping the child away from him. And like I said, if they didnt want him at the house, they could have asked for that during the custody battles. Or have cops there for the hand off. The fact was they were apparently fine with him coming there as they didnt choose those options And there was a reason for him to be there. And that reason is he was suppose to have custody of his son, and they were technically kidnapping him by not handing him off

And then the stepdad went in the house while the dad were still yelling at the mom to give him his son. Then the stepdad came out with a gun, and the dad went to him and yelled. Then the stepdad shot the ground, and the dad tried to disarm him. And then the stepdad pulled away and shot the dad

Letting people roll over you and do whatever they want on your property isn't a great precedent to set.

Except he had a right to be there. He was picking up his son, which was probably by court order. The mom and stepdad were breaking the law by not giving the son up to him. And he tried to disarm someone that shot at the ground. If anything, he was acting in self-defense first. And honestly, the stepdad shouldn't have even brought the gun out in the first place. He's the one that escalated the whole situation. Had he not gotten his gun, no one would be dead. If they had given the guy he son like they were suppose to, no one would be dead. If they didn't want him at the house, they could have asked for the location for passing the child to the other parent to be somewhere other than their house. This isn't the bio dad's fault. It's the stepdad and moms fault...

If you take that lump sum and it grows a very conservative 7% return a year (market averages 10% return a year), you're still gaining more than the daily payment from your return. If you take that return and reinvest for 10 years, you're getting $200/day.

The $10,000 weekly would help to get a house (and other stuff I want) much faster Also, harder for me to waste as much as fast With $100, Id have a much harder time saving it

You could. Thats true. But you still have a better of collecting more from the $10,000. Even if you live only for a week, youd make $10,000 compared to $700. Its easier to make it through a year than it is to make it through 14 of them, tbh Plus, if things go well, the hundred a day wont really matter in the future as much

Hmmm... It would take about 14 years for the $100 a day to catch up to the amount of money you'd get for that $10,000 a week for a year. So, I'd probably take that. Especially being older. If I was really young, and didn't need to use much money during my daily life, I'd probably do $100 a day for the rest of my life. But for where I am now, $10,000 a week for a year sounds much better...
